So I think VP is techincally the correct lynch today because if they flip red, then they are going to automatically implicate mav and clear 4 other people. If VP is Town and we lynch him then what happens is all those Non-Associatives with VP go bye bye and that would pretty much change the whole landscape of things (in a good way).

L-1, whatever. At that point, I believe only you would deliver the likely hammer. VP Baltar hadn’t been SR’ing me and wouldn’t have come out of nowhere and votato at that time I believed to be my complimentary role, so he should have been reading me as confirmed town like I was reading him.

Yes. I was also under the premise that claiming would out votato’s role. With my original post of where I think scum is exclusively grouped, that was based on votato giving a negative of midway. So explaining that read would out votato and technically, that role would be more important than mine, so if I’m NK’ed, it’s not as bad for town as votato’s presumed (but might not actually exist) “fruit checker” role. I didn’t want to claim at L-1 cause twofold 1) there wasn’t really a threat of a hammer (as I’ve explained) 2) a claim would inevitably lead to me exposing votato’s role

Ummmmm.... did you read the thread?

I asked if midway was “fruitless.” He picked up on that being like wtf. Votato immediately says “he is fruitless.” Like the VERY NEXT post from votato. That was an immediate response to my question and waaaaaaaay less arbitrary than “low hanging fruit” fruit bs that Quick is spouting cause deliberately muddying the thread and WIFOM’ing everything and every action into how certain players are scum is his M-O. He said how VP/R2R were potentially buddies. He’s said how he thinks R2R might still be scum even though Gamma tried TWICE to get him lynched...
Those arguments would be PURE WIFOM to suggest a Gamma/R2R and VP/R2R scum pairing.

“Low hanging fruit” used in other contexts like Quick so kindly pointed out is more for easy mislynch bait. It’s not the same as “Fruitless” or “has fruit.”

So, again under the (Potentially flawed) premise that there is a “fruit checker” role of some sort. Got that? Okay good:
I had at that point tagged two players. There is potentially another role checking to see if players have been tagged and at this point they had checked two players who might not have been tagged aka wasting their night action. Come day 3, I needed to find a way to somehow let the other role who to target and not to waste their night action. So I needed to breadcrumb it without outing myself and more importantly them but enough for it to be picked up on. So “fruitless” was what I opted inspired by Blair’s post and how that is a great way for a double meaning. So inspired to use “fruitless” but not related whatsoever to Blair’s role or claim or anything other than reading this post cause it’s an all time hilarious post.

@votato: I mentioned this earlier when I claimed. Had that wagon gained steamed, I would’ve killed it. But also, killing it would’ve out’ed myself AND you (again, didn’t want to out your role). But I thought it was bizarre. Also, after I unvoted midway, figured you couldn’t unvote also as that would’ve looked sketch af and would’ve let scum know something is going on and there are PRs here.
