First things first. Marashu is scum. I haven't read anything yet. I just know this to be true because after an extensive study of Marashu's genetic code it has been concluded that the particular makeup of their genome resulted in an emergent property of RNG magnetism. In layman's terms, it is not possible for a random number generator to determine Marashu's alignment to be anything other than scum.

What was the goal of making these two contradictory posts? I get that it was probably a joke but is there some reason why you chose to joke with Marashu in particular after replacing in?

Since Lucky's not addressing it, I was in a game with him recently. The context for the joke is that of the 3 complete games I have on this site, I rolled scum in all 3. In that game he was a very active player and a town leader (his posts were full of reaction tests).

I normally don't go diving into other games because reading a game does not tell as much as playing in a game, but I quickly read through his ISO in that game since you posted it. I noticed two things that were different between the way he played there and the way he played in Newbie 2002 where he was town - one involving read list and one involving the way he was talking to people, but those are both kinda weak because, again, it's different when you weren't playing in a game.

I think that my strengths as a player are muted when I have to constantly put everything I am working on behind the scenes out there in order to get other players to play the game, and my WIM diminishes when I am forced to play the game for people. I only led in the game we played together because when I replaced in nobody had done anything of value yet and town was destined to lose if nobody stepped up.

No. It resulted in people mass sheeping me which caused me to not give a single fvck about the game and go MIA for most of day 2 until people tried to think for themselves.

But I believe you on the Town leader thing. Most of the time my play has been shit (about 2 years ago due to emotional problems, but therapy helps. That said, still have about a 60% win rate as all alignments with all that chaos going on with me at the time) but I am hoping to get some noms this year.

Have you cross-checked this read with general activity levels in the game, particular activity patterns (if other players are active at the same time as a given player, that given player is more likely to show higher activity levels), out-of-game reasons for low activity, how much they were pressured for activity in each game, and other anomalies that make activity an unreliable source of reads?

I don't think making reads based on activity is good practice. I think it's better to pressure low-activity players in order to get interactions out of them that are actually AI.
