Town can be wrong all they want but always push with confidence knowing they’re acting in good faith. So even though the conclusion might be way off, it was done with good intentions, so there’s less holding back. The difference between you and votato is that I feel you haven’t pushed as forcefully and haven’t voted much or asserted yourself as much. That would give me the tell that you’re aware you’re not pushing in good faith and too worried that a bad push might potentially lead to a lynch. Townies rarely fear of having a push resulting in a mislynch. But scum must be constantly aware and trying to avoid that. So I think your play matches with a poor push resulting in a lynch where votato is pushing without fear of a lynch. I hope that makes sense... it makes sense to me.

yeah, bolded is actually a fair point, i won't deny it. I think I lost interest in this game midway through and haven't developed my reads much since Day 1 (which is what I am trying to do now). this is the only thing you've said so far against me that i think has actual merit

at the same time, i'm not sure scum want to avoid pushing lynches too hard. in my experience players today are not very critical of mislynches. Nobody is really scouring to see why NPOM got lynched, heck I'm not even doing it that much, maybe I should. anyways just take this paragraph as philosophy to be put aside until endgame

I totally get the claim changing reads or needing to reconsider, but I see a lot of "well it could be X....or it could also be Y"...which isn't super helpful in trying to read you.

atarashi, if you go re-read i think you'll find is that what i found scummy about you was not the vote you placed, or how close it put puppy to a lynch, but rather the lack of reasoning for the vote and some of your posts immediately following. Actually, the feeling is getting stronger. you are really indignant whenever anyone dares to think anything you do is scummy. you aggressively push at anyone who calls you out. you placed an OMGUS vote. i dont recall ever seeing you this jumpy. and i've read through a couple of your previous games. your post style is also rather different. you are usually an analytical player with long wallposts. here you are asking questions and pressing people. it feels pretty different.

Can you please elaborate on what makes Atarashi seem "jumpy" compared to previous games? Why would Atarashi start posting walls when we are only just out of RVS?

i cant explain why he'd post walls right out of RVS. all i can do is tell you what ive seen. Actually i've done a deeper dive through his past games and the wallposts are not guaranteed as town. The game i'm thinking of is actually still ongoing, so I'll retract that part. As for being jumpy, I don't recall him being so OMGUSsy towards people FoSsing him.

thats not what i said. I sad that as town they doesn't always wallpost in the very early game. they only has one completed scumgame onsite. here is the ISO. almost all fluff and IIOA. no wallposts. so the lack of wallposts here is NAI, but the jumpy response still could fit.

The wallpost stuff doesn't really matter if it's not part of your read anymore

i've changed my mind. votato absolutely needs resolving, but so does hellbooks/atarashi. i think at least one of these is scum and town absolutely needs to lynch here. i don't think scum votato would bus scum hellbooks this early in the game.
