@Puppy: 1391 was your last post before 1638. That’s when I forgot you were in the game. You having a conversation with me being like, oh, that’s right, this dude Puppy is here. Between the 1391 and 1638, looking for scum through active players was brutal cause I really couldn’t find two I liked. I didn’t feel confident in any two reads, hence my pursuit was shit. And that would make sense if there was only one scum actively posting. You seem to still think votato (possibly me as his scummy buddy) is a thing right?

Also, where did the votato push go during day 2? Why revisit it day 3? Why not include votato in your “let’s not lynch Blair or Gamma” post?

I was pretty afk day 2 and the first part of day 3. that's why i skipped a few hundred posts and didn't push votato day 2. that's why when i caught up day 2 i was behind on blair/gamma. it's not like this hidden secret pattern, it's all connected to the fact that i afk'd a couple times. It almost feels weird for me to have to explain this again.

Why not include votato in your “let’s not lynch Blair or Gamma” post?

because it was not a serious suggestion (blair herself correctly didn't take it to be one) and not every post i make has to be about how i want to lynch votato

Questions that need to be considered:

* Why did nauci get NK'd? NKA is probably a dead end but Nauci was not a strong townread for anyone. did she peg scum (would implicate atarashi/hellbooks and maybe r2r)? was it because she was familiar with someone? (would implicate quick). or was it just because near EOD she was starting to push Gamma? I could honestly believe that scum team this game has been lurking

* Momentum toward NPOM at D1. Need to go back here and figure out how he got lynched when he did, I smell scum influence on it, and with the claim on D2 nabbing scum we've never really done a proper post-mortum on D1.

* Setup. Tomorrow is probably the day for a massclaim. Something is fishy with a vig, a near-cop, and a mafia strongman when no protective role has claimed. any protective role should have been on blair, even a jailkeeper should have been on blair. there's also the question of the fruit vendor, which is a red herring for one of the factions.

I'm also starting to wonder if all the active players are town and we are just talking past each other. there are a lot of lurker slots that have been slinking in and out. (I am guilty of this too.) votato is actually right about midway on this account, though i don't have a scumread on midway specifically and there are other slots that should be pressed too

I dunno if I've mentioned it since near the start of day 1 but Puppy's felt really open about his reads and what he thinks about other people's opinions and I think that's very likely to come from town - like pulling this from his iso for example

Votato I lean town. I’m more torn on r2r/NPOM and think it’s likely one of them is scum. If both NPOM and votato are scum together they did one helluva convincing job since the early stages when Atarashi was still around. So I think if you wanted to suspect both, sure, but to suspect them both at the same time the way Nauci did it, no. I don’t really buy that.

Thinking votato is scum would be accepting that NPOM is town and vice versa.

I think Blair’s pursuit of Quick was misguided and off a premise that, sure, Quick had two contradictory thoughts of him being mysterious vs him being upfront, but I think that isn’t the greatest reasoning. It’s just Quick being Quick. But she has offered opinions outside of that conflict where I feel scum would naturally just tunnel in that situation and have no real motivation to move off or look towards other players. So sure, town for me rn.

(see bolded.) so why are you torn on r2r/NPOM, isn't NPOM already looking scum to you just from votato/NPOM? Your process makes it look like Nauci is scummy for trying to have it both ways, but you look just as uncertain here

My strongest opinion so far is that Puppy looks surprisingly town for how early it is - his/her posting seems very open and straightforward so far and I think that kind of mindset is much more likely to come from town than scum
