I mean if you wanna really put on a tinfoil hat, last game Elmo modded that I replaced into, Newbie 1996. It had a similar thing where lots of player tension resulted in most of the players replacing out. All except three, two of which were the scum team.In post 1773, Battle Mage wrote:

The important thing to note is that Elmo is a very nice mod and we should all thank her for being infinitely more patient with players and replacement requests over the course of way too many games than we could ever beIn post 1778, Tuxedo Mask wrote:The important thing to note is that Elmo is cursed.

Since the events of The Purge, I have a really, really hard time believing that Formerfish genuinely thought that Freddie's claim was faked and that another player (who he suspected was... Literally anybody?) coached them. The way he wanted to string up Freddie and Votato successively and believed in that logic even after votato and Freddie revealed a personal friendship and therefore additional meta-knowledge is just so incomprehensibly stubborn to me. Even Osuka changed their reads after that.- BBmolla

This progression doesn't look great...you went from strong townread, to "can't believe he's not scum" in less than a page? Surprising given you are an experienced player, and FF was quite clearly town, and even your odd meta-angle was "debunked" to use your terms. Again, I think you're stretching hard here, I'll bite.In post 1781, Nauci wrote:Since the events of The Purge, I have a really, really hard time believing that Formerfish genuinely thought that Freddie's claim was faked and that another player (who he suspected was... That's a misrep; I didn't say I can't believe he's not scumIn post 1785, Battle Mage wrote:"can't believe he's not scum"
I am having a hard time believing that he genuinely believed what he did about Freddie being coached because it's so absurd, especially in the face of new information.
Also, my read was confirmed by his meta according to Aloratom, who I trust because of my read on votato. I had paranoia about whether or not the cues which led me to town read him based on his day 1 play were things he may also have done as scum, so I asked in order to rule that out.
I don't know what to make of his tunnel "logic" on day 2, but I don't see why he would do that as scum either.- Nauci

Do you think this applies to Lilith's reaction to Formerfish back in early day 1 where he accused her of cunting up the thread but she was surprisingly not that offended? In post 1784, Battle Mage wrote:yeah scum tend not to get too heated - I like your reasoning here
VOTE: Dunnstral
I think the sentiment has some merit, but mostly I think that Lilith was using the big kerfuffle as a good time to effort IIOA and comment but not truly evolve reads on other players outside of that, which smells mighty scummy to me- BBmolla
