I'm all about consolidating wagons to hellbooks/Puppy at this point. In post 1924, votato wrote:mm i have a strong preference for lynching in midway or puppy, but im ok with hellbooks. i at least think we should get a claim and use this opportunity to force more reads out of the slot.

This is some nice selective memory form you two. Here is what Blair said before she died:In post 1910, votato wrote:
blair's point is that we should be looking at the early parts of the gamma wagon, not the late parts of the NPOM wagon. blair thinks maybe dunn started bussing early because dunn saw the claim coming. dunn was also late on the NPOM wagon, which means if gamma is right and you are right then it really implicates dunn.In post 1904, CantHateAPuppy wrote:
blair made the same point i'm making nowIn post 1160, Blair wrote:If Gamma is scum, it may be worth hunting between R2R and Dunn tomorrow, as scum may have picked up the PR tells and slid on the wagon early.
so it isn't just some conspiracy i made up to try and frame you, votato
it's a reasonable question: did scum drive NPOM up to an early lynch on purpose? (quick, you say you want to discuss this so let's discuss this!)
In post 1264, Blair wrote:
I've given many reads in my roughly 300 posts in this game. I'm not going to make up new ones just to prevent you from making wild assumptions in twilight. In post 1252, CantHateAPuppy wrote:
blair if you don't give us some reads i'm going to assume gamma will flip town and you're just in anti-spew mode nowIn post 1250, Blair wrote:The sudden scramble to bus this wagon suggests there may not have been scum on the wagon before that, by the way.
Quick is looking scummy again. Puppy still looks scummy. Votato looks terribad right now.
I'm leaning town on Dunn. VP could go either way.- Dunnstral

i think it's two different casesIn post 1919, ready2rock wrote:
Not in the way that she was on and off your wagon, it came across to me as not wanting to pin down her position on you so that she could set herself up to take whatever vague position she wanted after your flip.In post 1918, CantHateAPuppy wrote:i think hellbooks having doubts isn't a compelling point. uncertain ideas is just as much a town tell as a scum tell, it could show a mind struggling to work out the game.
Plus, weren't you one of the people on quick's case earlier today for changing his reads so much?
quick is changing his whole readslists as part of an opaque black box (black box!). if he's town we don't get much from his reads and if he's scum, he has a convenient way to get whatever reads he wants. now that it's day 3 some of those reads are starting to look convenient.
hellbooks looks more like uncertainty, which is different. i could call this town, right now i'd call it null. hellbooks "waffling" is not very much on its own, it's day 3 and that's the best case we have? in truth the hellbooks slot problem is that it doesn't have a lot of content (different from quick, see below):
i don't think it actually tells us much. it helps resolve some of the D1 wagon questions, but not a lot. hellbooks doesn't have a lot of content or associations. it would be better to let this slot post some more before consensus to lynch. votato/dunn/quick would give more information. In post 1921, ready2rock wrote:
If we get a hellbooks flip, what do you think that tells us about the remaining scum? Especially if hellbooks flips scum?In post 1920, votato wrote:wait im just realizing hellbooks is atarashi. hmmm.... im ok with hammering that slot in 24 hours pending claim. why could i be scum with that slot? also why cant puppy midway be scum with hellbooks?- Dunnstral

see, this is what i'm talking about. this guy's magic box (black box!) lets him vote/say whatever he want, nobody pushes him because "that's just how quick be," and he can't even explain what he will get from it.
like, after everything i've posted he's not the least bit suspicious of giving dunn a hammer again? at all? this is stubbornness to the point of game throwing if town.- Quick

Yeah I get that. Are you expecting me to vote someone to L-1 or are you asking someone to claim at l-2 rightnow? And neither of them are voting each other. In post 1932, Quick wrote:Look at the VC and tell me what it is looking like to you.- CantHateAPuppy

I am expecting Puppy to vote hellbooks and hellbooks to vote Puppy. That's if one is Scum and one is Town. Otherwise I am not sure what is going to happen. In post 1935, Dunnstral wrote:

dunn, at this point i have to ask you why u don't want to lynch quick
you've called him town and said you don't really want to lynch him, but i have to ask at this point why? do you see him as an asset? do you think you can see how he's thinking (black box!) and that this feels like a town thought process?- Quick

yeah, just flat declaring the last "4 or so pages" are "scumming it up," positioning yourself for a lynch on a townread you've had until now, no real thought. is hellbooks town too then?- Quick

but you keep changing your reads and you never need to explain them because it's all part of this magical black box (!) system. you only really express what you're thinking when you are asked direct questions. come on, you've played enough mafia by now to know better than that, right? In post 1943, Quick wrote:

at least my POE has a set of reasons and a method. the D1 wagons need to be examined, there was some odd voting there, and there are a lot of slots that need to be resolved on that NPOM wagon. this is a reasonable method and you can criticize it and see how it thinks. your method is based on some patterns in how accounts interact, which is basically inscrutable.- votato
