He is a new enough player that he has no completed games yet. Arguments based on, "We all know this would be an unforced error as scum," don't apply very well to new players.

If I'm understanding you correctly (which I may not be, because I'm currently Asiam-girl-drunk trying to cope with getting old), you're saying that the vote change there is a scummy unforced error, but that newbies are prone to doing that kind of thing?

I was trying to ask if you thought that Gibus, as scum, would post the vote acknowledging that the sheep vote appears scummy.

Yes, the acknowledgement that it looks scummy is exactly the sort of lampshading I expect from newer players, so I don't consider it a point in his favor because the wisdom to "say less" here as scum is something that comes with experience.

I also see nothing in copykats case about scumslippng. Not a strong case against copykat, ill concede, but worth pressuring. I still dont like ironcat, but that might just be due to language barrier.

This seems like a pretty good case on Osuka. I could go BBMolla today. Or maybe Dunnstral/Lillith. I need to look at this Tuxedo/copykat thing a little closer but that seemed to be more early game. I'm not so much for a Blair/Freddie hook today.

I think copykat's switch from defending gibus ("scum wouldn't be trying to out masons in this thread") to attacking a "scumslip" feel contrived to me, like he is trying to get on the bandwagon as fast as possible and needs something to attack gibus for. Typically I think scum are more likely to attack something like that so suddenly and aggressively.

The idea is that it isn't inherently scummy to be inactive, but when you're inactive but still show up immediately whenever your name is brought up... you aren't authentically inactive (because you've been reading along often enough to always respond quickly to direct accusations).

I wouldn't characterize it as a "tell," but it indicates you are putting forward a facade ("I'm too busy to babysit the thread") while silently monitoring the thread.

-under reacting to Formerfish on Day 1
-mostly IIOA commentary on the fiasco on day 2 instead of specific evolution of her reads on Day 2
-I never trust Dunnstral

I liked her posts on day 1, but they kind of only happened when several people would mention her, so I had her as null then, but I felt like she took the opportunity on day 2 of the drama to mostly rehash stuff instead of give reads, even if they were very helpful posts.

What does under reacting to FormerFish mean?

osuka's initial post unvoted and said "lemme get caught up." shortly thereafter, without being caught up, he drops another vote. this scumread developed really fast, and hasnt been remotely re-evaluated. in fact, anyone who defends freddie or questions osuka is scum in osuka's mind.

Replacement is a good suspect due to the whole issue of newbies replacing out of scum rolls in their first games.

tl;dr: osuka decided in post four of the iso that freddie was scum. since then theres been no effort to sort anyone else, other than me and now tuxedo for defending freddie, and FF as town for attacking freddie, despite pointing out a lot of scummy posts from FF. interestingly, despite saying theres a lot of scummy posts from FF, osuka never pushes at FF. looks like distancing.
