Spring is absolutely terrible. Misled the entire town, selfishly, and shot town right in the nuts.

I'm pretty much at this point with spring, too.

I was looking at everything as a whole.
Starbuck has the highest chance to be scum then anyone else.
They have way too many scum pairings.

I really don't, but I realize my chance of being the mislynch today and I'm settled with it. At least we won't be losing a Town PR if I die.

Honestly I just want to make sure everyone actually submitted "Pass" before we move to the next step lmao.

I don't think ABR has a read progression on me that makes sense. On day 1 they call me scum for basically no reason at all that I can see, now when the quiz has failed (I was on the team) it's Farside/Starbuck instead?

Is everyone gaslighted by the fact that ABR was on me all of yesterday?

Now, I could be wrong - between You, Spring, and Starbuck, I think Starbuck was behaving oddly in the pt - it's like she was pushing spring in advance, knowing that the quiz would fail - though why scum would do that IDK.

I feel like you missed my back and forth with spring yesterday before we even got to the Quiz PT. spring has been frustrating the hell out of me.

I think there is a very high chance that scum simply doesn't have a nk.

Then why is the quiz leader bulletproof?

Apologizes if this wasn't clear, but I want to clarify how the 'Chainelader being bulletproof works.'
When someone becomes chainleader they are bulletproof for the night they become it not the night after.
So for example, if Mary became the chain leader after a vote on night 4 she would be bullet proof night 4

and day 5.

Not Day 5 and night 5.

Because there is the possibility for daykills.

My next concern is maybe they didn't understand that the leader is bulletproof the night they get it. Which means they shot at Unwnd and were hoping the chain would go back to their scum buddy Spring.

This is a fantastic point for why folks wanted it to go to beeboy and why spring would have voted for beeboy.

Honestly, I think it's Raya if anyone. He's been playing it safe the whole time, there was a moment where I voted unwnd for the quiz and raya instantly hammered it in which caught me off guard. I think he may be playing a safe game here, emulating his last town game I was in - except I feel he had more analysis in that game

Ya I confirmed it sometime yesterday when I was pressuring unwnd.

I was thinking you two could work unwnd and be in the quiz and he can target you, but you have to be sure whom else goes into the quiz.
I didn't think about the ramifications of failing n1 and having 5 players you may not want to pick from.
I would say leave out of the quiz group TSE, Mid, Abr and I would approve anyone else then.

I wanted to say that ABR is the scummiest player, but his anger feels genuine and I agree that we definitely did not use the mechanics in our favor yesterday. I agree with ND that we should decide the quiz team

I also disagree with the Raya scumreads. I think a lot of people have been saying that she makes the "safe" reads which I don't exactly agree with. She was townreading Cakez before he became obv town, and I can't really see any necessarily "safe" reads.

Is it really likely there's a PR that allows scum to fail a quiz without even having to be on it? That seems to overpowered to me because not only does it gain scum an advantage but it also causes a lot of town confusion and makes us believe someone on the quiz is scum.

I like this quote because some people(like Dunnstral and beeboy) were trying to suggest that scum were outside the quiz team. That's super unlikely, and suggesting that seems more scum motivated than town motivated.

I have a TR on her, and the quiz failing doesn't exactly point to her being scum.
pedit: ND's posts seem natural and have good ideas(like choosing the team AFTER passing the chain), and I think he would be more "involved" as scum. I explained my TR on Raya and unwnd is conf town.

If scum decided to no kill in order to bluff them potentially not being on the quiz then congratulations they got me.
Otherwise I am going to assume a scum counter part to a role we have already seen is a lot more likely then scum being incapable of reading which seems to be the current theory.

Oh, I see why the no kill points to scum being off the quiz, but a role that could false guilty seems weird considering we already have unwnd's role.
My theory is that they either gambited(as there are many strong players in this game) or a town PR saved the kill(less likely).

Cheetory once modded a game called paint mafia.
Town assumed without night actions the information couldn't be tampered with for the day 1 result and we had a confirmed result of someone being town.
Town lost that game because it was information that could be tampered with during the day as a 1-shot.

I don't see why we would assume that information is definitive when the reward for passing the quiz is so absurdly powerful (conf town + power role), it definitely feels like pass/fail takes priority over the information behind who is in the team from a game design point of view. Are you all just assuming MariaR, the list mod whose been dedicated to this game for years wouldn't realize the quiz creates conf town?

The thought process being it sure would be unreasonable if scum could tamper with this is incredibly wack to me. It makes perfect sense given town can tamper with scums ability to fail the quiz... :/
