Take a serious look at this scummy bird. Scumfuck McTurkey is trying to hoodwink everyone with shit like "My scumhunting is unorthodox" and contradictory play compared to the standard they hold other players to (voting Una for not seriously trying to advance their preferred wagon while doing not a goddamn thing to push forward the wagon themselves). Calling people out for "voting their weaker scumread" but then handwaving away that when they're doing it, it's just using that other scumread as ammo for their stronger scumread.

I also backed off because some of my other reasoning was based on a theory that turned out to be false. I felt gypyx, outside of the traitor spec, was simply regurgitating ideas previously posted and presenting them as his own, but the specifics I remembered were misordered - he usually presented his ideas before anyone else had when I re-read. I don't find it to be entirely town-aligned, but it's not as damning as what I had perceived.

That didn't work, the player in question claimed he was traitor so I don't remember one recently where someone accused a player of being a traitor.
I'll be continuing my reading tomorrow. Hopefully get through a few pages at a time and interact with people, see if that helps me out this game.

What gives me hope is that both replacements so far have had multiple points that matched with some of my earlier reads.
What's a bit worse is that I really thought renaissance was scum, and therefore farside is scum AND THEREFORE my early reads would've matched those of a scumplayer faking.. Oh well.

I also love it that AGar called gobbledy out for the exact same shit that they originally started "scumreading" me for.

Mate... day one the only lynch I'm adamantly against is my own.

I honestly dislike it when people seem to say "lynch whoever D1 and we get flips and the game starts", but I can also really understand this PoV.
Often it ends up being very hard to feel good about any one lynch over the rest D1, but we all know we need to make one too.
I'd still argue that the best thing anyone and everyone CAN do is just start raising discussion about anyone and everyone.
At least that way we have the most to analyze later.

Oh I agree fully. I'm more meaning I don't have enough of a read on people to actively be against their lynch on day one. Any lynch is preferable to a no lynch after all. Day 1 the only person I really know about is me. So any option that isn't me is better. As we move forwards I can see reads and start pushing things more often.
