Blair giving Flair advice is like No Neck Ed giving David advice on long distance dating.

Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.

You wasted page top on that?

Since you're here Al, why not vote for Looker?

In post 1199, Blair wrote:Check Albert's and Looker's ISOs. Is it early to partner hunt? Yes. Have they conspicuously avoided taking stances on each other? Also yes.

P-edit: I didn't miss it, but the element that you seem to have overlooked was that it was way too early to matter. Anyone who hammered that early would have been lynched the next day with extreme prejudice for shutting down conversation so soon. There was no real pressure then.
So your suspicion of Looker is purely associative? I don’t even know why you suspect Looker. I took a look back and the Looker wagon you’re hanging onto so tightly I started. So I don’t understand this angle from you at all.

At most it was you, Turkey, and myself.

I also completely disagree with your edit. If Looker was a wolf (which you believe, no?) who was hammered early, the player who hammered would be a villager 99% of the time.

So what can I hold players accountable for on D1? Nothing?

Don't be deliberately obtuse. Yes the lynch flipping scum helps tremendously, but nobody *knows* a lynch is going to flip scum on Day 1. Lynching that early on Day 1 on MS is like lynching in the first 20 minutes in a 48 hour Day 1. Barring black swan events or role madness games, it doesn't happen, and no scum feels pressure for being in that chair.

Al. A. L. Short for Albert. It's a term of endearment. I have begun the slow, methodical process of pocketing you. Your utter repulsion at this stage is all part of the plan.

Then why are any of you voting to pressure a player in the first place?

It can’t be for reactions. Half of you seem to not give meaningful reads on D1 anyway out of some misplaced sense of self-importance.

Just so you know, my style of play is considered different on MS as well, and it doesn’t matter where I go, I make believers everywhere.
My comedic by style egoist character is just a big part of it, especially Day 1.

This is a misrepresentation of my Looker scumread, which even Looker himself has recognized and responded to. If you genuinely missed it let me know and I'll pull it back up for you. If it wasn't, feel free to claim scum now. :P

Well if you can stay and engage with me beyond a small handful of posts perhaps I can discover your character’s charm on my own.

As it stands you enter the thread, mention how you’ve caught up, then leave again.

For the record, I am 100% on board to push Looker OR Albert to L-1, state intent, procure a claim, and potentially hammer *right now*

That's where the pressure comes from. People like me saying things like that. No one indicated intent to hammer Looker and the wagon predictably dissolved.

It’s not a misrepresentation, it was a genuine question.

Jog my memory what makes him most worth our collective focus in this moment, and not FL.

What follows is the ideal Mafiascum Day 1 town post:
Here me, Oh worms! Grovel before me! Behold my wisdom and despair!

I am the sun and the moon, the night and the day, more feared than the demons from the depths of the earth of the gods of the sky!

If I am town, behold! No mortal can comprehend my methods. Those who know me fear me, for they know they have already lost.

If I am scum, behold! No cunning will pierce my disguises. Those who know me fear me, for they know they have already lost.

Foolish worms! Challenge me and the ground will give out from under your feet. But accept my warning and even I may deign to teach you something, if you are able.
At this point, vote randomly until someone dies. Ideally, no one will pay attention to the flip, and so Day 2 can proceed exactly as did Day 1.

How is that fun? Genuine question.

Next game you two and I play, we’re doing it elsewhere. We can keep these jank phase lengths of you’d like but the audience here is suspect as Hell.

I’m going to take a break.

I’m annoyed and I’m being a dick unnecessarily.

Hopefully others post some more. I’d appreciate more thoughts on FL from anyone willing to give them, unless of course they’re afraid of dying N1.
