Ok so my theory was that Craig was big braining.

The mafia win by day 3 doesn't hold up so I'm assuming majority has to escape.

The idea was that the win condition around mafia being lynched day 3 onwards was nullified if the mafia member that escaped day 3 targets their remaining partner with the nightkill so a mafia lynch wasn't possible and all remaining members have escaped alive.

Each night, in addition to a mandatory kill, one of the Mafia must choose to escape, and will exit the game being revealed to be Mafia.

The member of the mafia that chooses to escape would be the only remaining player of their faction alive, and also escaped.

So day 3 with 1 mafia lynched 1 mafia chooses to escape and 1 mafia is killed by mafia (the non escapee) technically they still fulfill their wincon without being lynched and losing.

alas, locked up in my cabin with this bottle leaves me with little time for my fellow crewmen. also, my connection is spotty.

in a game like this, i think that a scum player would be more emboldened to be jokey and outwardly ~~ scummy. so long as their team is good and they don’t get back to back eliminated, i don’t think it’s impossible for a scum player to be silly and lighthearted and jester about, banking on the fact that it’ll be dismissed as someone being fun and generally NAI.

after all, if people are inclined to dismiss it and two days go by and things wrap around to where the town as a collective is going, “huh, what if all this stuff was just a bold scum player after all?”, it doesn’t matter if they’re already out on their merry way escaping.

dunno. i think that playing it up so much thus far has done anything but set off alarm bells within my head. a setup like this imo rewards wifomy play moreso than others by virtue of scum having the escape mechanic where so long as they can survive enough through some chaos they’re good.

On Porkens: I find it less likely that scum would accuse someone of not posting game-relevant stuff on the first page, just because it would draw a lot of unfavourable attention that scum wouldn’t want. Although now I look back through the ISO, there’s not much game-relevant stuff in there, which is kind of hypocritical.

I’ll need to have a better look through the replacement’s posts to work out my current read.

It was like...my first thought when I read the setup in queue. It's not a common occuring thought process, but after you play with Flavorleaf enough times you run into some odd situations.

More than that though I wanted to make sure it was a situation that the mod was aware of. I'd hate to be the mod with that 1 player that has to game and ruin a setup they put their time and effort into.

I'm actually very confused about Craig right now. If they are town it almost feels like they're gamethrowing. It's quite important to get a scum lynch D1 or D2. So I don't understand as town why they're playing like this and drawing votes.

But a similar thing can be said for scum. It's important they don't get lynched D1 or D2 so as scum why would you want to draw this attention to yourself.

It's all wifom but I don't see this being pro-any alignment.
