I literally, *literally* cannot think of a worse place for a vote than chemist right now and if you don’t get off him and move your vote somewhere more useful I will come for you

Trying to pressure chemist is actively counter productive most of the time because he just feels less like playing when he’s town and is therefore less likely to answer, and as scum he just has to replicate that. Only he rolls town more than he rolls scum, so lynching him for it is such a waste and it’s why he’s /consistently/ someone scum try to lynch on D1 or keep around for a compromise lynch

Or he gets white knighted sometimes too. But if you leave him be he actually has good insights often and is discernible from being scum when he is town over a longer period.

So voting for him is dumb and lazy and bad and you should stop doing it and vote somewhere productive

Also why is refusing to clarify himself even scummy? Do you think scum actively go “yeah nah I’m gonna piss off this towny and get them to vote for me” when appeasing and getting people to TR you is literally the name of the game as scum

I think they try and sow confusion. Not clarifying anything is quite a useful way to achieve that goal.

In other news, getting the game moving is definitely a cause I can get behind. Not sure about Holden specifically, though: he's been inactive in another game I'm playing with him, and the activity tracker does show he's V/LA, so in this case it's probably NAI. And I do seem to remember townleaning him off his earlier content.

I also have townreads or -leans to some extent on Umlaut, Fredrick, Eevee, Menalque and Chemist... that's not actually as many as I thought.

So, who do I vote for?

Sujimichi has precisely one post with no AI content at all
Mohab500 also has relatively little AI content, which is slightly more concerning given her higher post count. I'm okay with her reads post, although none of it is exactly controversial.

RCEnigma does actually have some useful content, which is nice. I'm not getting a townread from any of it, though, and I am curious: if you're trusting Eevee's townlean on Homura, why do you not feel the same way about their read on Ydrasse? ()

Speaking of Ydrasse, I don't really have any particularly strong feelings either way on her. I do feel slightly sympathetic as I'm kind of in a similar position (first non-newbie game, struggling to get into it properly) but that is an objectively bad reason to townread someone.

Raya I was vaguely townleaning earlier, but I'm not really so sure now, I haven't really seen the follow-up I was looking for.

Homura/Almost50 have very little AI content between them.

VOTE: RCEnigma, for lack of any better ideas. If anyone has a case against someone I'm not townreading, let me know!

honestly, my vote's been here for lack of a better place to put it atm. i'm more at ease with menalque as of the past few pages and i agree with the sentiment to like, start consolidating a wagon in order to breathe some sort of life into this game. i honestly don't feel one way or another about the holden wagon.

like i was thinking the same thing: lot of people just died off after a spurt of activity at the start and being in this game feels like a purgatory where we can't get everything done. skimming through his iso, though, i'm not like... really sold by the idea that he vanished because he was happy to coast for now? dunno, he left on a dramatic note implying there were some greater reasons to keep his vote on the slot which would have been nice to know now but, /shrug.

@menalque: who else do u consider an acceptable wagon atm.

I'm not blind trusting Eevee, Homura had vaguely townie feelings and Eevee backed it. I've never played with ydrasse and I don't recall a single ydrasse post so I'm not sheeping it.

Nah, Mohab is just as good a vote. You could have easily voted Mohab if you wanted a wagon to go somewhere or given reasons for Mohab!town.

If Holden is absent due to V/LA then the push there is even worse.

You're overestimating the content of this game.

As an aside, A50 has beaten me 3-4 times straight as scum and the last time was because I used a tell that I made up for him when I was scum lol.

Honestly unsure of what to do at the moment. can someone provide a summary of what the fuck happened in the last few pages? I don't understand what's going on anymore.

From what I understand: push on holden initially makes sense, but seeing as they're apparently V/LA, shouldn't be a cause for a push anymore.

Also really disappointed in the constant replace outs, I know I would've done the same if I had something that made me busy (in fact, I am still considering replacing out atm), but it's hard for me to form any reads properly when the player changes midway.

How? and why? I can agree that using activity as the main reason to push is a little excessive (seeing as activity is a major point for most of the players here), but I don't see why they are the worst possible push?
