I actually quite like the Ginngie logo. Looks suitably Mafiaish, while also being a funny reference for veteran users.

Should be able to recolour or add a background for different skins. I think the knife and blood is the bigger issue.

Complaints about the gun in the old header were one of the reasons it was changed to something a lot more subtle.

I agree that I think a gun is a bit too over the top. I don't particularly care about imagery like that and i'm really not that phased by any of it (i'm hardly ever offended) but i think that even outside of that realm of concern, it's just really corny.

that's just a quick palette change though. I sent the red/white version because i use the default skin and thats what works here

the f/i combining is just a natural thing the font did

both of those are in the IBM Plex family btw. just wanted to choose a simple Google font with enough variety in its family options to stand out against each other

i had the idea to make the f into a knife and the i look like a magnifying glass but haven't found a way to make it look good yet, if that's even a good idea
