Btw, I still think GuiltyLion is scum, and if we do included a third, he would be my pick. I don't buy his excuses for not doing "more because of the nature of the setup". I know it must suck to have this kinda meta used against you if I'm right, Hobbes, but you're the one who provided the self-meta lol

Also, his push on me is something he kinda needs to do as scum since he knows it's gonna be near impossible for him to budge my read on him.

I mean idk, I did a solid amount of scum hunting D1, proposed a pool and was pleased that Ico put two of my three in it, caught scum with one of those two. and partner hunted (badly) yesterday, got another pool with two of my three suspects in it and agree with the execution and likely pool today. There weren't really many critical competing wagons moments outside of D1 and I was more active when that was happening.

I'm not sure what else more you'd expect me to be doing, the game's on a decent course even despite not finding tea yesterday. and I've largely agreed with the momentum of the town so far. Ico as our Beloved Port Authority is keeping the harbor running smoothly, and Alisae is kind of just rolling over which makes me think it's good odds that we're right and e's scum.

I'm essentially prod dodging here, although I've skimmed.

Maxwell proposing himself along with me and Datisi seems like an attempt to poison the well and potentially get one of us on the chopping block tomorrow instead of likely just him. A rather uncharitable interpretation, but the one that most immediately jumped to mind.

Investigating me and Datisi is still a stupid decision, but including Maxwell would be moreso. I would not comply with it.

Haven't been able to give this game much time so you're still getting loose thoughts.

If Alisae is scum, with the way he's playing I would expect that he already knows - or thinks he knows - the TD. Also, if Alisae is scum then I would guess Maxwell isn't, simply because I would expect Alisae's buddy to also be playing in a very low-effort manner given the (theoretical) impending 2nd scum lynch.

The point I'm trying to get to in a roundabout manner is that I'm wondering if I'd rather vote Maxwell today. There is certainly an element of recency bias in this.

flipping Maxwell first anyways? The basics of it are that I think Datisi is town but I couldn't say the same about Maxwell and I'd rather simply investigate a suspect alone than potentially be in a guilty pool with him.

Okay, but I’d still like to know what was making you TR him on D1 in the first place. Because I had him as more likely to be scum and changed it round because you said you thought he was likely town, and now I want to know what the reasons behind that defence of him were so I can decide if they’re still compelling

IIRC you were very strongly opposing the Day 1 inspect as well
