Dead PT - very short
Mafia PT
Port Authority's Office PT

Thanks for playing, everyone! The fact that I didn't have to replace anyone in the game really shows the sportsmanship everyone brought to the game. This setup has a sizable streak of AITP running through it, which may not be for everyone, although I love it personally. There are a few things I would change with the setup to expedite certain things but it basically ran as I had envisioned.

From an observer's view with perfect information, I
despaired
immediately as NK15 fakeclaimed PA and
let TD get wagonned early
. I don't
necessarily
think town fakeclaiming PA is a game-losing move, although it does require strong daughter reads from the fake-PA for it to work. In this case, coupled with the fact that real PA was in V/LA, you can see by VC 1.9 the
immense
pressure TD was put in.
Umlaut even sent me a PM asking me where the heck the PA was!!!
Do note that you can
mutiny
the PA, ignore everything he says, and still win as town, if you are able to
independently and accurately figure out the identity of the TD
. I'm surprised that Moment was the only person who tried anything of the sort. Anyway, Iconeum returned, and was forced to brutally retake his throne. He proceeded to force through the
game-winning double investigation
on the scum team on Day 1. (if
randomly
chosen, this investigation is in top
2.85%
of all possible 3-men investigations) Some of you guys were against this investigation for various reasons, but it's one of the biggest reasons for town's victory and I would like to applaud Iconeum once again. Antics that followed from the PA were basically all smokescreen from Iconeum, trying to divert attention from his TD. Titus played a strong Day 1 and overall superb scum game, and if even a single other scum team member mustered together a good enough position, I believe the "
Survive 5 executions
" Scum Win Condition would have been viable. Instead, we have kuribo taking apart the scum positions immediately and hunted notscience down. kuribo
does not mess around
and seen even from my last run game (Detective Penguin and City of Fogport), he gutted scum on day 1. Titus was forced to trade in her town cred on Day 3 to make a stand for her remaining teammate, but to no avail, partially due to the logical playerbase backbone of this game (GuiltyLion and co.) in this game being able to see that repeat investigation is obviously and very valuable, since they have been already confirmed as not TD. And to end the game, Titus did end up guessing Iconeum, completing the entirety of his well played smokescreen tactic.

It was a pleasure to watch you play the setup. I am again very impressed at the level of sportsmanship everyone showed, even if your enjoyment of the game was not as high as you liked.
I did commission the art above as a token of thanks to all of you.
Thanks for playing!

Umlaut was actually my early thought for TD although by endgame I really thought it might be a gambit by NK15. Very well played game by Iconeum.

I guessed it was GL because of Icon having an early but never really questioned TR on him, but I honestly hadn’t thought about it that much.

I don't normally get tilted by things that happen in games but the state of day 1 as of (as FakeGod pointed out) was so stressful for me, thinking my play might singlehandedly lose us the game on Day 1, that I nearly replaced out from the pressure and I never really recovered my ability to play this game properly and just sort of phoned it in for the rest. Sorry I didn't contribute more but maybe you can understand how it happened.

This was the post. Ico suddenly namedropped a bunch of popular D1 suspects and umlaut's name was nowhere to be found. That was about the moment I went "oh crap umlaut might be TD" and spent my time towncasing him on day 3. I guess I can take that away from the game even if I was kind of crappy otherwise.

wait shit, it's umlaut?

gah, that day 1 was pretty damn bad, and as soon as i saw the night 1 invest pool, i more-or-less knew this was gonna go down to getting the daughter right. turning my position around on d2/d3 but still getting shoved into the investigation was painful, haha.

good game to town, damn you ico :P

many thanks for modding, fakegod.

The most "fun" part was my early scumread on notscience that people were
demanding I explain or else I was scum
and that I couldn't possibly explain because it stemmed from my knowing NK15 was fakeclaiming.

You guys had in Iconeum a
remarkable
captain who was willing to take charge, take risks, but also did so with a heavy heart.

It is said that those who least want the responsibilities of a leader position are often best suited for the job, and Iconeum pulled off a stunning performance.

I am sincerely hoping Iconeum would let me post his solo PT in the postgame to give you guys a glimpse of what happened inside the head of the lonely administrator who was determined find the smugglers but also keep the Tomboy Daughter safe at all costs.

Props do go to Iconeum here. It's VERY hard to play in a confirmed town game resting on your shoulders place. The fact he got two scum and doubled down on it is pretty damn good. He should be proud.

I still think this setup needs a method to kill an outed PA to ensure this works more like mafia. It was fun none the less.

Thanks for the great game, you guys.

Alisae, I'm sorry I misread you and tbh if my head was in it more I may have come around.

Notscience, I did come to believe you didn't know I was username, but I had figured you out by then and I couldn't let mercy get in the way.

Ico, you were a star.

Titus, believe it or not you pinged my scum radar a couple times during the alisae wagon, but I put it out of my mind because I didn't want you to be scum. lol.

Datisi, being caught scum as well as essentially last scum standing is one of my guilty pleasures and I laughed out loud at your posts.

I know I dislike the meme style of play, but I like to think I came around a bit this game.

Umulat, you did a great job too.

Once I was mostly townread, I had hoped that Ico would continue to interact with me the way he had been: I couldn't tell him, but I was perfectly willing for the scum to think I was TD. And indeed, it must have worked since Titus had thought I was a suspect.

This was legit one of the most fun games I've played in a while. Boring ass mechanics talk notwithstanding.

I am beyond pleased with my lack of toxicity and doubly pleased considering I've felt super toxic in the past eight days.

I can't wait to play with you all again.

@FakeGod thank you, o smart serene, and never stop inviting me to games <3
