I am quite suspicious of chkflip because Psyche said he wanted to execute him and then he died. Some people are saying this means chkflip is town as this play would be too obvious if chkflip was mafia. But I think because people will think that, it is actually the perfect play to make for him without getting any suspicion.

My attentions have been elsewhere recently. I'm still getting back in the swing of things here but you have my full attention now. What's the case on Dunnstral exactly?

Okay, so I don't see the Dunnstral stuff as being anything less than genuine scumhunting. I agree that there could potentially be a maf in osuka/looker, but gun to my head I don't think it's osuka off of today's play. Maybe it's the fact that he resembles my typical style but it reads town to me as well. So my surface level reads so far aside from the obvious IC clears and the cop inno I'm willing to town bucket Dunn and osuka so far. If Walter wasn't IC I'd town bucket him for his post about being disappointed in his D1 play. I'd also town bucket Gyp for a reason I already don't remember off my skim. I'll look back again to find that post if you'd like but you inno'd him, so, I don't think it matters that much.

The more I look at Truth the more I see newb!scum. The aversion to being "honest," the awkward 2-team question piling in with the other newb card self-awareness he keeps doing just isn't sitting well with me rn.

That may or may not be because he has had this fetish with my slot all game, apparently (I think I saw something at EoD1 where someone called him out for that), but I'd almost be willing to elim off that alone. I spent a lot of years in the newbie queue to develop a sense of what newb!town vs newb!scum looked like and I'm getting hard vibes of the latter here.

Decided to go back and give it another try.

I feel bad about my first game so I am trying to be open and transparent. If I was an important role, I would not have claimed, but because I am a vanilla townie, I claimed because I want people to see that I will not be lying in this game.

This is actually fairly redeeming in the newb!case. I'd seen it earlier but may have brushed past it. While incredibly wrong in its outcome I can actually see where newb!town is coming from here. I've seen it an absurd amount of times in the queue. Granted, this was years ago, but IME the newbie meta doesn't make incredible strides or shifts. My "honesty" read above was from his claim. I like this post a lot.

The redtea post above it is pretty wretching, though, in retrospect. Gonna wait for people who haven't showed up to chime in more there.
