I finally put my finger on it: he feels incredibly self-aware in the gamestate, in setups of former games, but he isnt using that to sort people

Like he's saying he knew the dk vig shot was fake, but he held onto that knowledge for a while for no reason, really, and doing so didnt really seem to translate in any way to reads

yeah im not a dayvig that shit was a reaction test and i thought at first it was indicative of a town!miccro but overall i think the most they've done is just make it so at the very least i am not immediately going to hang them today dependent on factors. their anger reads as Salt so that is why i am not as sure of it even being a town reaction. (any semi competent player is going to react as if they are going to flip town and "help" town where it might be beneficial)

So pooky if you think that DC faked his reaction do you think it had anything to do with koba's alignment? I'm thinking that if DC faked it then he knew koba was not the dayvig but then why would he know his role?

Skitter can I get your opinion on this, I'll leave it open ended so what ever comes to your mind.

my read on donc is "i thought he was Town, then he started screaming at koba, and i have an extremely dumb bias of reading People Who Scream as Town and i've been burned before, so i'm trying to ignore that fact as much as i can, therefore while i still read him as town i now feel 7x more uncomfortable about a read that was shaky in to begin with"

I just don't see how aldu thought it was a good question. I was trying to see pooky's opinion on the relationship between two players but what I asked would have no correlation between the two players in question(koba/DC)

I see a lot of discussion on whether I faked my reaction to the dayvig shot or not, so to clarify:

I thought the dayvig shot was probably not real, because I don’t see how a 9p would be balanced with a dayvig; but koba had softed dayvig stuff earlier on, and while I put the percentage chance of it being real pretty low, if it *was* real then it was important to get my final reads out and I had enough uncertainty about it being real that doing that as insurance seemed like the best option

I also kind of started to believe it more as it went on because I thought koba had gone beyond the bit where it would be a reaction test, like when they got super pissy about me “blah blah”ing every post they were making

this reaction reminds me of what i've seen scum!aldus say sometimes but i need to dig up his town!games to check if he did that as town too but i'm not feeling like doing that right now

There is like, a totally unwarranted resistance to flipping dsjstr because he is LHF and I just, question the motivations for this when that seems to be a significant component of why people don’t want him flipped
