I don't really like using meta as a principle and I don't think it's really a good enough argument for me to point to other games and be like "but this game is different from my play there!" because I think skitter would be capable of changing her play to not be the same as other games?

Well I guess my only examples of witnessing your scumplay firsthand aren’t representative then. I still don’t get duckling’s confidence on scum!you here. I’m trying to determine if he honestly convinced you’re lockscum here or he’s scum pushing you in bad faith.

her play this game isn't approaching from a solving perspective. she's more focused with occupying the thread & looking like she has real good great opinions than with pushing slots who are actually readable.

her push on me felt awkward & at a time when I don't think town!skitter actually scumreads me but was also like very strikingly a point where the POE pool was starting to shrink to an unmanageable state.

since I called this out skitter has been more interested in winning this conversation & like ~coexisting~ with other slots than sorting and I'm pretty sure it's coming from a perspective of not being confident about how to steer a gamestate where it's very hard to get mis-elims on most players (save like, at the time she could have gone for dsj but I think dsj WAS lhf and is getting progressively townier)

to summarise it I feel like she's not trying to solve this game & she's opportunistic in ways which are pinging me as consistent with how scum would be handling this gamestate/plist.

I have a bit of a townlean on you. That as well as that other game. I think you did some scummy things in that other game that were similar to your D1 play in Lunacy. I already mentioned your bad RCE push for example.

I just don’t see how Skitter is your #1 sr. Okay, link me games where she played exactly like this then? Because there are better votes today. You must acknowledge at least that much. I think it’s a terrible idea to risk misexecuting Skitter, possibly you too but less confident on that. Maybe, because you sound so sincere but resigned. But then that could still be in your scumrange. It wouldn’t be the first time you’ve fooled me and you were super obvscum in Starcraft. I 100% would have voted you too if A50 wasn’t so terrified of the NK.

(including yourself! cept you're a scumduck who's pushing me anyways, which is a Sad but Noble pursuit that will ultimately be unfulfilling)

this is my first game with you but considering the vast amounts of praise DonC had for your scum-game, I'm going to assume that you are some kind of scum-goddess who can can meta-wifom and come up with all sorts of "I wouldn't do this because of ____" and as a result I wouldn't really give you any towncredit for it. It's much easier to towncred a weaker player for slips but I don't see how they would apply to you.

skitter reacting to epic big fights with a similar level of sincerity (i.e. it is within her scumrange); i also think her play here disrgearding the fight reactions in general has been along a similar path of trying to feel out the gamestate and react with what looks good rather than find scum.

just re-stating: i have like no hesitance in saying skitter is probably the overall-best player active onsite rn, across both alignments. she's also not polarised (i.e. neither alignment is overwhelmingly better than the other, which is often the case for players at rand)
