that's lowkey my suspicion about aldus' play here, yeah.
particularly the flurry of content recently felt more like he needed to look good so did rather than developing reads :/

I reread skitter iso with just the posts regarding aldus

every post on the first page of skitter's ISO regarding aldus seems pretty noncommital with an idk - she makes an excuse for him being absent during the toxicity which is kind of strange since I don't think the toxicity made him any less comfortable and he's been similarly absent after the toxicity was removed.

2nd page of skitter ISO she feels like she really does not want to evict aldus but also seems wary of people trying to tie her to aldus - this doesn't make a ton of sense to me -

It wouldn't be worrisome for skitter to be tied to aldus unless aldus flips red.

So it follows that if skitter is worried that she's being set up - she would have to believe aldus will flip red in the first place.

However she seems to be quite active in wanting Aldus not flipped despite being quite concomitant on her read of him.

There are some meta arguments she makes about how if aldus/her are scum together they would not play this way in 1916 and 1921 that feel kind of weird to me because it seems premature for her to be saying she/aldus are not partners together when we don't yet know for sure that Aldus is flipping red to begin with.

Still feeling super nauseous but I’ll try to force myself not to be useless. It’s kind of ironic how many parallels this game has to the game me and Skitter fought about in Lunacy. I had trouble getting into that game because I was literally super nauseous for days and she deathtunnelled me throughout the game. The obvious question mark for me is obviously her alignment and the difference is that as a result of Lunacy we’re on good terms outside of the game.

Other than her unwillingness to push duckling despite repeatedly shading him, I still can’t figure out why she would link me to Aldus, when other people are doing that to her, especially when she claimed not to like it. It’s frustrating to me in any case because she has yet to provide even a single reason to think we’re linked in any way. That is the part that makes the least amount of sense to me, even more than her inexplicable refusal to push duckling. So without doing any further reads’ catchup, that’s where I am rn. I do think it’s weird how eager Aldus is trying to get himself executed. Is he usually an anti-survivalist player in general? Does anyone know? I really don’t have a clue what to make of that.

I finally put my finger on it: he feels incredibly self-aware in the gamestate, in setups of former games, but he isnt using that to sort people

Like he's saying he knew the dk vig shot was fake, but he held onto that knowledge for a while for no reason, really, and doing so didnt really seem to translate in any way to reads

this reaction reminds me of what i've seen scum!aldus say sometimes but i need to dig up his town!games to check if he did that as town too but i'm not feeling like doing that right now
