On the issue of the currently running Chess Minigame, I will allow it to continue if it is done solely within "spoiler=" tabs. It is distracting to the game and has no place in a Geriatric.

I believe that I don't need to go into details about Michael, the charisma and role-playing he's doing seems healthy and fluid, with no indication that he's pushing himself over the limit or uncomfortable with it. It is easier to interpret something with energy and fluidity when you have a clear mind, and I imagine that the cognitive load of being scum, in this context, would affect his performance and make it all stressful and exhausting.

Why would it be "stressful and exhausting" for me to joke around and post GIF's as scum? I don't think that either Auro or I have done anything that is strongly town-indicative yet.

It served a few purposes. It pointed out the identities of the hydra heads in case Reck actually cared (I assumed he didn't, but it didn't hurt to include that), updated the thread on the fact that I think there are scummy things coming from a slot I was previously explicitly townreading (which then allowed for people to engage me over those things if they so chose, which no one has done yet), and it bumped the thread so the mod could have the pagetop for his VC. I think that the last was clearly the most important of the three.

Also, the chess game is now defunct as one of the two participants has replaced out, so it's kind of a non issue at this point.

Insincere or stilted? Do you SR them, or is it just a not-a-townread?

I would be truly shocked if there is not scum on the S&K wagon, and I TR Agar. (I also TR clidd and S&K). I would be willing to vote Bspray slot, Reck, or KMD. I think Porkens has decent scum equity, but he also seems likely to amuse me and so I wouldn't vote there without being a bit more sure of myself.

actual thoughts so far, these arent a meme, i promise

michael scott- idk the post restriction is weird, i have a hard time reading hydras, i think it's a slight scum read bc after reading 3 pages of the game i have no idea what the fuck theyve done or contributed even tho they have the most posts so far
bingle- town read. the chess match stuff felt like real frustration. not much to go on, so this is a slight townread.
clidd- the "bad tone" read on me is weird. the hard defense of s&k is weird -- especially considering the revelation that S&K were "joking" with their post. the whole reads list in 33 feels weird. and then the follow up to basically say "i read you bad unless meta says youre good" feels like an easy scum out.
porkens- town lean. i dont like the obtuse nature of the way he words his posts, but i don't think it's coming from a scum motivated place. offering thoughts freely without being prompted, feels town.
agar- not sure. positive, he went all in on S&K which i think was a town move at that point. negative, his posts have an air of hostility and frustration that i dont think is warranted on page 3 when he hasnt been under fire.
kmd4390- what has he even done? but said he wont be around until thurs. still dont like it much. we'll see.
bugspray- the chess shit was annoying. but i like his 38. mostly because he calls me town. which im making a note for myself means he could slip into my blindspot. but i dont ever worry about blindspots until they become a potential liability.
s&k- i think my points on S&K are clear

so right now, i think clidd/s&k has a good chance of having scum in it. im fine with my vote where it is

So I'm not sure how anyone has reads on Michael Scott or bugspray as they don't seem to have started playing yet. (NOTE: I typed this before I finished reading so it only applies to page 1. Bugspray started playing after that). Bugsprays reads feel lazy though. Very generic. Lack of interest could explain it, but why such a lack of interest right at the start of the game? Does anyone know what alignment bugspray prefers to play?

I've questioned townreads on me before as scum, it's easy to do. Auro and I haven't really gotten into this game yet, which is why Clidd's "easy" townread on our slot bothers me. Clidd has played against scum!me before, and he townread me in that game. I believe he has also played against scum!Auro and townread him as well. That, coupled with the fact that most of our slot's posting up to this point has been meme's/GIF's, is why I don't see how he could have us as his top townread. If anything, if Clidd is town I would expect him to be more critical of our slot.

what about my post 31 was defending anything about the "joke read list" debacle? at that point i still thought it was real. how am i defending it?
and yes, i stand by the hydra thing, though i don't think it makes you scum necessarily. one slot being able to have dissonant reads/behavior/etc muddies the waters too much, it's why i hate hate hate hydras. because anytime you get caught in something, your other half can just swoop in and hand wave it all away.
