Then it would've been mylo yesterday and yesterday did not play like it was mylo. 10:3 is standard in 13 player games and with the potential for extra kills from corruption 4 players doesn't make sense. We're looking at a single scum left.

I think there's a pretty good reason redtea would be hit with corruption, actually: with norwee dead, he's the only player who can't have their corruption lowered overnight. Prevents any possibility of that person being cured of 1 point. Additionally, anyone else, with 2 corruption on them now, we could just ask them to hammer and remove them from the PoE if if they hammer town and die. This was a very savvy move.

I keep vacillating on where to put androgybee

This is very interesting by DD from day one

Rat/Bell and Porkens are in the "not sure where to put them" group. Where a non-bussing scum would want them to be.

Day 1 they throw a lot of votes around between Starbuck, Jackel, and Math

Day 2 they jump on Porkens early after Bell requests it. But keep reiterating that they wanna actually vote starbuck or Jackel

This was August 4th. The day started August 3rd. The vc was as follows:

Porkens (4): Bell, DD, Norwee, catboi
Jackel (1): Redtea

Starbuck (1): Banana

So the question here is: which is more likely? Scum DD pushing for a mass claim to take heat off of Porkens with a week to go til day end? Or town DD realizing at 7-3 we can't afford to mislunch here and a mass claim helps us solve it?

If DD is scum, they and Bell can flip that vote elsewhere. I don't think the call to mass claim was scum motivated tbh. And I thought maybe scum might be looking for 3p before, but imo scum always strongly believed no 3p existed.

I think if anything strongly points to DD being town its this action

Obviously a massclaim helps scum, but it also helps town (and more), and more when you're in pre-Lylo. This is not some cunning trick I was trying to manipulate town into falling for, it's established that mass-claims on the day before LyLo are good.

And when I said this, IIRC I didn't know that his using a power would lead to more corruption. I explicitly said a few posts after that not to use his power if he would die as a result.

Whose voting record is impressive? Most were townreading Bell. We were on Porkens a lot. If Starbuck's scum, our voting record for D2 would be stellar

Yes, I re-thought the death after the flip - likely explanation is S_S got 1 corruption from using his ability, targeted porkens, and got 1 corruption from somewhere else. Just really bad luck there.

Another thing weird to me is how Starbuck didn't negotiate with us to avoid acquiring unnecessary corruption. Inherently, that hurts town, for reasons you described banana.

I was also in the middle of my workday when that happened on Wednesday midday. TMI, but my coworker was being let go because nonprofit budget cuts, I had an emergency meeting with my Executive Director, and it was just chaos work wise while trying to check in to the game after 12 pm. The last few votes, while not needing to be, were rushed right through.

I totally agree that it hurts town, but I think those rushing it through hurt town more. We weren't up against the deadline, there were like 2 days.

Yes. When I realized that it didn't, I came back to hammer and you beat me by 5 minutes or something with an excuse of "not knowing when I was returning," which was blatantly unfair given that I had been available (finally).
