I think I've finally pinpointed why it's hard for em to follow the game properly. Too much noise, too much fluff, and too much side conversations that have nothing to do with the game itself. My plan was simple: Sit back and try to read people to decide who was more likely to be scum, and who was more likely to be their p in that case. Who dramonic's idols are isn't helping (just an example of side conversations). Some players are composing some of their posts in a "Shakespearean" manner too, so to speak. Some are responding to posts without quoting what they're responding to when there had been intermediate posts between the two that are addressing something totally different.

I am sorry if I sound like an arse here, but the game has been really hard to follow when I wasn't able to use 100% of my concentration abilities.

I know this is the same session (at least for me) but I want you to NOT expect much from me at this time still. You know well (ar at least should) that I don't enter the game guns blazing (unless I am a replacement who got it with lots of substance readily available). You should be happy I am -at least- not meme'ing and shitposting enough. My mind is "elsewhere" for now, but I am "watching from the sideline" and will probably jump in sometime soon.

1- Why the quotation: Using capitals is considered "shouting". Using bold/italics is considered "asserting". Using "quotations" is kind of "hinting".

I'm not going to get into detail about Hiraki/menalque but I like dram's take on it minus getting to Dann!scum as a result.

It's kind of indicative there is at least 1 antitown involved since it took up a large majority of the early game and nothing useful came out of it. As in no one is interested in resolving it and leaving both slots increases mislynch potential.

Alternatively the antitown involved isn't confident in winning that battle(?) Possibly.

We're kinda in limbo rn...unless we want to go ahead and push through the A50 elim.

^ Pretty much. I don't think this is a game state thing since the only way to move my reads forward is to reread the thread again and I will die before that happens day 1.

I mean, I dont disagree with the gamestate/replacement comment, but I dont agree with it either. I guess I kinda feel like scum is content with where things are, and so are letting them sit. Im discontented with where things are, but just dont have that much will to do anything about it with all the subbing out. I joined this game to play with mena and billy tbh. I really like many of the players here, including some recent replacements, but just dont have WIM right now, and am about to start the crazy week of back-to-school.

So - you have a reason for not caring, but everyone else not caring is because scum is content with gamestate and not because there is actually a reason they may not be caring. Hmmm....ok.
