like at that point in the game , we knew DonC was from the masked game, so he was either a vanilla townie or a one-shot nightkill Mafia player from that game.

If the mod had indicated that the one-shot nightkill mafia player is unable to kill or can only kill once in the entire game - that would make the role imbalanced and hence DonC would likely be a VT
