These days, definitely scum, if I’m able to participate. Town if I have trouble participating, because I find when I have trouble participating as scum it 99% of the time will lead to my elimination.

I tried making a read list but it's so hard. I can't decide who I like and dislike. Like I like Ydrasse but her flip on me is so weird!!! And I like Morning but I keep getting weird feelings of paranoia from her positioning and non confrontational nature. Same with Farren he does some good solving but sometimes it just looks fake in a way.
If I had to do it just based on my leafy gut.

Ydrasse could you go over why you still think I'm scum after everything I said? If I was scum I would just fake some nice sounding logic for why I voted Farren rather than try and be completely honest with what I was thinking back then which is what you and Isis don't like.
I'm thinking about if I should omgus you or not.

i mean, for the most part the way that you voted + the weird way you described it made me vote you; it seemed super out of place in comparison to what you were posting. i'm not convinced completely that you're scum but seeing that made me go !!!! in a bad way.

@clidd - I think the couple of issues I have with Farren are that a few of his questions don't seem likely to advance the game in a useful way and are either blendy or stirring things - mainly 20 and 72. I also think the soft defense of Ydrasse may be a WK

Purpose of 20 - an excuse for engaging clidd, specifically. I think I'm going to need extra interactions with him to be able to read him properly.
Purpose of 72 - I didn't like the confidence level that 70 implied - at least if the post was sincere. But I did like the ... brashness, I guess? I was trying to figure out a way to divorce the two, figure out which is more indicative. Based on Gamma's answer, I'd say the brashness - which is a small plus.

As far as defending Ydrasse goes: describing her as "Friendly" was not a defense. It was more a probe on Menalque to see if he was advocating for "Friendly = Scummy," - which he was not. The only other post - 62 - yes, that's a small plus to Ydrasse, as it's something I'd noticed as well. Why would you think that constitutes white knighting?

So if I'm getting this right, you asked clidd the question about his opening in 20 with the explicit purpose of getting extra interactions with him?

And not just that, but describing Ydrasse as friendly was actually to see whether or not Mena was equivocating friendly with scummy.

Cold and calculating is how I play. At least up until something clicks and I go full-bore Inquisitor. Usually coincides with becoming conf-town, if and when that happens. One of the reasons I prefer Open or semi-Open setups, and part of the reason I signed up to play this setup in particular.

I actually rolled scum in the original roll of this setup and it was very scary indeed!

fmpov, the way you positioned dunn and farren as your scumreads and then chose to vote the one who DIDN'T have a wagon on him at the time seemed to me as if it was an effort to divert/split pressure between people. i didn't understand why you would choose to place a vote that would not accomplish a lot versus the pressure of putting dunn on a heavier wagon while also poking/prodding at farren? it seemed like a move someone would make where they want to look like they're busy when they're not.

in general you do these little things like post "thinking about if i should omgus or not" which seem performative. i don't get the need to announce stuff like that specifically instead of just.. doing it?

so basically just a lot of stuff that looks busy but i don't think has a motivation to get stuff done.
