Replacements shouldn't really affect your motivation if your goal is to win and not look good while winning.

It’s not that it affects my motivation directly - it makes it a lot harder for anyone to maintain consistent reads. If you believe you have identified Scum for example, and then another player comes into the slot and screws up your view, then it’s much harder to sort the game out properly. Take Nash for example. I had Nash consistently as Lean Scum, but then plusJOYED seems a lot less Scummy to me (probably because they are defending me in a position where it’s beneficial for Scum to yeet me).

I would say that Bell/notscience and The Bulge/Bellaphant are the potential Scum Teams. shellyc is always Town. And I don’t know what to make of plusJOYED, probably Town I guess.

Since we have a day prior to the day ending from the moment we get a replacement for Bellaphant, at least give me some time to re-read the game and give you some more definitive ideas as to what I think.

Bell is sheeping you quite hard. If The Bulge flips Scum, then the game is solved because you/Bell are most likely Town and you probably have a small POE of what Me/Bella or something?

I agree that Bell has been sheeping NS - Bell pivoted towards the Bulge when NS suspected them. Bell seems townie to me though. Is NS trying to pocket Bell?

The Bulge has been defending Bella and I'm not sure scum!Bulge would do that when many players have sussed the Bella slot.

NS doesn't really have a reason to be moving the wagon like this as scum. it's just not done really. He's backing up his hesitation with action. He's not just saying a thing, he's doing a thing.
He can at maximum, have 1 partner. But the wagon has shifted twice and he started the wagon on bellephant.

He can be partnered with you really. NS / me or NS / PlusJoy looks viable. He might have started the wagon on bella (his partner) then switched once she was in danger of being hammered

I still have a town vibe from NS but im skeptical at how you decide to give people townpasses

though like andres said, with so many inactives/replacements I'm almost hesitant to kill someone that is actively keeping up with the game, this is getting kind of ridiculous. Are all mafia games like this?

Sometimes, once you complete this game you can join a bunch of games, so when is slow or there’s a night phase you can go play another. Just try to pace yourself and know your limits
