I'm glad you reassessed ss / your first comment was kinda surface-only; I am slightly Apprehensive about his alignment but that first post you quoted really didn't strike me as phayke at all

I have this weird feeling I'm doing that thing where I townread people who think like me and scumread people whose reads are different and I suppose I'd like a breakthrough to make me realise whether or not this feeling is valid

are you able to expand on what you're Vibing about umlaut's posts? (Assuming you're treating vibing as an explicit town indicator)

I get the impression you and Hoopla have history, so I might outsource a little bit of analysis of her range to you. I've heard through ~certain sources~ that she has a spectacular mechgame. I appreciate you lumping mine & datisi's solving efforts together because I've been a little bit more null on him than I'd like to be; in a ~rand game where he was town i would have him in the top right corner at this point regardless of my own alignment and it's kinda got me scratching my chin a little

i'm unsure what to make of the gypyx fake-hammer and fake-reaction fiasco.

when you have players acting in a disingenuous way in order to harvest reactions, you risk players responding in kind (which is what gypyx did).

so, now the question shifts from "was gypyx's reaction genuine?", to "was the decision to fake a reaction to a fake hammer town?", which is just too flimsy of a premise to really parse anything meaningful imo.

if pressed, my intuition leans town on gypyx because it's kind of overt and bombastic to respond to a fake hammer with an equally facetious reaction test.

i stand by my observation that I thought it's reaction to the hammer looked kinda townish, but it doesn't take into account that gypyx apparently said afterwards that it *knew* it was a fake hammer, which takes the entire argument out of the equation
