I think we are having similar thoughts. I also think notscience is the player that benefited the most from keeping The Bulge around and TK’ing plusJOYED even after they indicated (in the same Day!) that they were Lock Town. And notscience and shellyc have each other as Lock Town it seems (and I don’t know, is notscience heavily pocketing shellyc?). The problem is that all they have to do is wait for The Bulge or I to put a vote down for each other and it’s game over if we’re TvT. Now, I still don’t know how likely it is for The Bulge to have me so wrong in this game, or to never reconsider their read in light of everything that’s happened, as Town. What I do know is that I don’t know how to get away from this 1v1. I just can’t help but feel bad about the fact that both shellyc thinks I’m slimy (apparently since yesterday, though no specifics still), and notscience has me paired with The Bulge, but couldn’t bring themselves to see that one through yesterday.

that's why I really need ns to pocket check. It he feels he's indignantly right we've probably lost but so be it; not evaluating bulge is instant loss regardless of their alignments.

Pocketing doesn’t do the worst any good here. The Bulge is already tunneling me. All they would have to do is be indifferent to my slot and wait for a Townie to vote me.

I’m really bad at clowning my friends unless I’m 100% sure they’re scum. It’s one of my biggest weaknesses.

neither of them seem particularly interested in my thought experiment.
that's basically why i'm townreading andres, yup. i still don't feel wrong and am still waiting for someone to go "bang. here is why andres is scum.". i suppose i'm hoping my sincerity will shine through because i'm a lazy shit and towncasing him sounds like an awful time.

i still strongly argue that my d2 is like, absolutely riddled with misplays if i'm actually scum with andres but i don't think this is a particularly serious solve so it's kind of a rabbit hole :/
1-2 of {myself,NS} are wrong unless the scumteam is exactly {NS,Bulge} which is a kind of... goofy solve
