I haven't followed recent pages outside of skimming for mentions of either my name. Why do people think this is at all important?

It isn't, I moved off from the topic after confirming that Cabd gives out fake claims routinely. I thought that archer would use a fake claim when provided with one given the quality of the one he made himself.

to be clear im wondering because my role doesnt have that ability and im wondering if im the only one.

well i assumed that attention would be returning to me. i wanted to get out ahead of that. i also want to clarify my claim that would be unable to chain master to anyone else. i can chain master to one, but only one person. i was hoping that scum would feel comfortable outing that they didnt have a chain ability. it turns out i was probably right - looks like archer didnt. but i guess i was too transparent.

I'm not buying this. Can someone tell me why they are buying this? It's an amazing coincidence that they decided to lie to bait scum (at a time we were not yet 100% on all town having this) yet also were the one red herring town pm.

To some degree we don't want to confirm someone we think is town as town? They get a jacked role pm but will just end up being shot which results in us losing a strong town read and the entire benefit of this vote.

I would be fine with making a strong town voice master. First of all, they will be guaranteed to drive 3 hangs which can hopefully help snowball this game. Also, there's probably going to exist protective roles anyways, so they could save whoever we end up choosing.

1. Lancer clamped up when Berserker initially started talking about the master hand out spec.
2. His interactions with Archer are pretty awkward.
3. His strategy on voting phase doesn't make sense to me from a town perspective.

I've gotten a similar parallelism vibe about the early scumreads on me that both Archer and Lancer expressed in the first 200-ish posts. It was interesting that Archer commented to Lancer about Lancer's scumread of me, and then clarified what he meant by one of his fos-posts. I want to read that as coordination, but I'm not sure. Maybe without the clarification post it would read more that way.

Moon Cancer noticing that and thinking it tied Archer and me as scum/scum is interesting more in a "someone picked up on how weird that was" way than in a "this makes me suspicious of them" way.

Both Archer and Lancer got some stick about their reactions to the foreigner/berserker 1v1. You pushed Archer for reasons why he townread both, but picked Assassin for the vote. And Assassin pushed Lancer for not wanting to read the 1v1. Another parallel in the early game.

I really need to stop townreading strangers for scumreading me about early day 1 posts.

I've played secret alt games before, they've been harder but not this hard, so I'm not here blaming the setup or themeing. Usually I'd feel bad just rolling over and letting myself go out after doing nothing, but I feel like the rest of the town can handle this just fine. I'm not coming up with much when I try to get caught up.

@Caster - Idk, why not? They still claimed to have the master chain power. And at the time of Shielder's saying he didn't have it, I thought it was consensus that all town had the power. That's why I didn't go into it, it didn't even feel necessary to confirm, but I wanted everyone to stop claiming so I wasn't about to start doing the same.

Archer was the only one I had good reasons for but everybody caught him already so f
Caster is part gut and me thinking I TRed him for the wrong reasons at first. It also relies on Shielder being town. I need to catch up but it's like I have a mental block towards doing so. And I have read all of the pages, they're just not coming into anything for me.
And now that I look at this page, he argues for Shielder scum again and then joins him on Ruler, because dueling wagons, when Shielder has barely any votes. I don't know if that means anything but it's not what I'd expect with a Shielder SR.

I don't really have any more developed reads which sucks, I know. I'll see what I can do about getting more invested.

I've been working on that too. Just about ready to give up at least for the day. I felt like I was confirming my biases along with it just being difficult to switch back and forth to get enough context. I get why people think bacon stripes are scummy.
