This fact looks worse and worse every day, I really need to make my own ruleset
1.
Site-wide rules apply here. Don't think that the fact that I'm modding means that rules of highers-up don't apply.
1a.
The numbered rules all apply in my games unless otherwise stated in the Game-Specific Rules section below, should one exist.
2.
Do not talk about the game outside of the game thread. Exceptions apply if I give you explicit permission to. Along the same lines, do NOT talk about other ongoing games in this thread.
3.
Do not quote anything I send you in the game thread, or vice versa. Paraphrasing is allowed, within reason. If you are confused, feel free to ask me.
4.
Keep it somewhat civil. It's a game, and I can understand if things get heated, but there is a line.
4a.
Since it is a game, you are expected to play to win. Do not play against your win condition. For example, this means that you are required to read your Role PM.
5.
For votes to be counted, they must be bolded or in vote tags. If you do not vote clearly and in one of these forms, and I miss your vote, it's on you.
5a.
Voting for No Vote is also acceptable. If 50% + 1 (rounded down) of players vote No Vote, then no player will be voted out.
6.
Unvotes are highly recommended to make sure I don't mess up your vote, but they are not mandatory. If you choose to do so, please use bold face or unvote tags.
7.
When a player receives 50% + 1 (rounded down) of the votes, they are voted out. After they are voted out, no votes or unvotes will be counted.
8.
Once you die, you are dead. A single “bah” post is allowed if it includes no game content.
9.
This game is a commitment. Try your best to be active.
10.
If you do not post for 48 hours without declaring V/LA, you will be prodded. After that, you must post in 24 hours or you will risk replacement. Being prodded three times, or repeatedly "dodging" by posting contentless messages after being prodded, may result in replacement.
10a.
If the game seems very active and players don't feel like they are lurking despite posting less than every two days, or vice-versa, this prod time may be adjusted by 12 hours in either direction at my discretion.
10b.
If you post or PM an action after a deadline ends (either for a game phase or for the prod requirement) but before I begin to write up a post or PM regarding it, I will probably accept it. Do so at your own risk, though, there are no guarantees.
10c.
From when roles go out, you will have 48 hours to confirm via PM or in thread (if it is open), or you will risk replacement. Even if the game starts before you can do so, you must confirm anyway.
11.
If you will be away for a while, please declare V/LA in thread or by sending me a PM (in which case I will post notice in the thread). During this time, you will not be prodded. Please declare repeating V/LAs (eg. if you're V/LA on weekends) each time they occur. I don't guarantee that I will notice your V/LA if you mark it on your account but don't tell me.
11a.
Please do not take excessive V/LAs, either in terms of frequency or length. If the game is too much of a commitment for you to handle, please replace out - I won't hold it against you.
12.
Deadlines for each game day will be 14 days unless I grant a player's request for an extension or a player replaces in close to deadline. If the game appears to be moving slowly, future deadlines may be shortened at my discretion. Deadlines for each night will be 48 hours.
13.
If no player has been voted out by deadline, there will be a No Vote.
14.
The mod color for this game is #6FBCD1, the color of Sunny. Do not slander his name by using his color. Aristophanes will be using #800080 as his color; please do not use that color either.
15.
Hydras are permitted in my games, provided that they follow these rules. I reserve the right to deny acceptance of hydras into the game, especially if many hydras are already present.
15a.
Hydras are only allowed provided that they have two heads and sign their posts. Three-headed (or more) hydras are not allowed.
15b.
The two heads of a hydra must be made common knowledge, and will be put in the opening post.
15c.
If one head of a hydra drops out, the other head will be allowed to switch to their main account, keeping the same slot in the game.
16.
If I missed or wasn't clear on something, feel free to ask me for clarification, but don't try to exploit it. If you believe that a game or moderation error (such as a botched reveal or a player cheating) has occurred, please contact me PRIVATELY to discuss it.
17.
I reserve the right to add more, or clarify existing rules, at my own free will, but the players will be alerted if or when I do so. If necessary, rule changes may be done retroactively.
18.
Do not fake violations of rules. Additionally, don't publicly witch hunt if you believe another player has broken a rule.
19.
Any player caught not having fun will be modkilled and laughed off the site.

20.
In the event of a severe violation of game rules, a player may be forcibly removed from the game by modkill (at listmod discretion). A less serious violation may result in a warning or a forced replacement.
20a.
The modkill of a town player will end the day, whereas the modkill of a mafia or third-party player will not. A modkilled player will have their role changed to Neutral Survivor, and will be ineligible to win the game.
21.
All night actions MUST be submitted via Private Message. Submissions over Skype, Discord, PT, or any other method will not be accepted.
22.
There is to be no communication using encryption, ciphers, or hard-to-see text. Do not edit or attempt to edit your posts; instead create a second post. Do not use provable randomness, including dice tags, for any game purposes or in the game thread.
23.
Please note the recent admin correspondence about replacements. I will follow that with one small exception: if a player replaces out and then wants to take their old spot before it is filled, I may accept their re-entry on a case-by-case basis, especially if I’m struggling to find another replacement.
24.
Following the recommended change in vocabulary surrounding day eliminations, the term "Voted Out" will be used instead. Please refrain from using the old nomenclature or any terms derived from it.
24a.
Players will be reminded when I catch them using the old terminology, but I will avoid taking official mod action unless the violations are egregious or in-bad-faith.
24b.
Please call me out if I slip up. I will not tolerate any sort of discussion about the rule in the game thread.
Game-Specific Rules – MafiaSunny
A.
The flavor for this game is derived from Sunny, mascot for the Count on Me NC tourism campaign, and official materials that have been distributed as part of this campaign found here:

B.
The game has been designed to be unbreakable by flavor. Please do not attempt to break the game using flavor.
C.
Should the non-Town faction have any non-Vanilla roles, they will have Multitasking, and they will be allowed to assign those roles as they please, with a deadline for doing so of 48 hours after Day 1 begins.
Should any Vanilla Townies exist in this game, their Role PMs will resemble the sample Role PM below.
