In post 1398, Bell wrote:Sure is. I shared the forest fire one because it’s pretty much a beginner’s guide to meta.

Yes I feel the more archetypes of Zmuffin I have, probably the better. I’ll probably be very conservative with any conclusions I try to draw though.
Oh! scum zmuffin played a forest fire game, too. He hydra'd with Natirasha in that one, but Nati wasn't present much. That was a great player list. It wasn't zmuffin's best work. It was a meta circle game. Also regfan-empire hydra.

He scumread my hydra in that one for a while.

I should reread it. But even just in recall, it wasn't like his play here. https://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=84&t=62186

it should be noted that most of the later RBD games (inc that one and tales of you and maybe a couple others) were probably games that were joined because nati said "come play" and i was like "i dont wanna" and then i got made to play because nati looked at me with puppy dog eyes or something

i dont recall being very invested in that game at least

His read has pretty much always been leaning stronger toward scum than mine. His read of you wasn't a factor in that post, though. That was about not wanting to interact with you anymore this gameday.

All I really wanna do this day phase is derail muffin’s hunting so I can figure out if he’s scum or not. I doubt he’d appreciate it, but I don’t think as he’s currently playing I can get a solid read on him.

what would you say was your motivation behind /? was it more for the sake of the whole thread's pacing, or specifically because
you
were getting bogged down?

There were a few reasons.
1. I became worried i wouldn’t get into the right state of mind if the thread continued at its pace and I would find myself adrift d2, not wanting to reread d1. Because of the, for lack of a better word, scattered motivation posts. Also, I think quite a few players aren’t being very upfront or honest about their reads that probably aren’t all scum. So I hoped to draw back the veil(fat chance, right?)
2. Based on some experiences it can be somewhat illuminating to have a hub for people’s reads to reference and then see how they progressed from posts in the past and posts in to the future.

S_S basically hit the nail on the head when he said I was asking for people to explain what they were doing like a five year old. I do that sometimes.

depends on who alisae is scum with but also i just dont think it's very common for people to say "hey the game has started" in a scum PT

it might take a while for that to even become a thing that scum knows about unless someone immediately mentions "X posted Y"
Something about these posts felt like scum taking some sort of action to help herd the gamestate and create another mindset. It could be defending partner Alisae, or defending townieAlisae.
April can be town for completely ignoring context and jumping the gun on a ping from a misreading in a way that doesn't look fabricated

I can see ffery doing this

but on one hand you're upset that they went after noddy for something so flimsy
and on the other you're upset that they backed off the pressure at a certain point
