I realized when I was done that by picking some of his most recent games, all the games were about mechanics. And I'm not sure the stuff I observed about his play applies well to games that are flavor-themes not mechanics designs if that makes sense.

Is your experiential meta also skewed in this way?

No. I don’t think so. There were interesting mechanics in both but he was placed in a unique position both times.

@S_S why aren’t you scum this game? What have you not done/ done in this game that you would/wouldn’t do as scum?

He replaced in, faked a perspective of “who’s ydrasse? Haha I don’t have a scum partner” and then got eliminated.
In the other he was just an utr power role that was text book enough we managed to kill him with a sweet of powers while nking elsewhere.

I guess the only thing to say here is that he hasn’t really gone out of his way to fake a town perspective.

His town games I meta'd seem both more lighthearted, and also more hunty, than here. But, there's not a mechanics strategy to chew on, or at least not enough known about the design to do some chewing, so maybe that makes the early game less engaging?

Yeah it's not a huge difference in heartedness. Maybe a little more fluff. It's the narrative/agenda stuff in his scum game that sticks out for me reading a bunch of isos. I check context where I'm confused, but it is a one-sided conversation.

First thing that comes to mind is the midway meta case.

Second thing that comes to mind is uhh probably acting natural around April instead of paranoid af that he's gonna bury me.

Third thing is idk there's no obvious third thing. If I've done real time interaction and not sounded like a robot, that's a point in my favor.

I've been trying to stay out of the S_S meta discussion (though I am very much enjoying reading it) but I am happy to answer anything that people trying to meta me want me to answer.
