Ooo! I use a mix of spices that my mother told me was the 'only way to properly cook pork' and you don't disagree with Mama Maria if you value your life. That along with our peanut butter chocolate cake is probably the 2 things I was past down in terms of cooking.

We have to interact with each other early on in a weird way until we can trust each other.

Like it’s imperative in my town play that I get Something Smart to town read me correctly, and for me to counter any major action he takes as scum, just as I imagine it is in reverse.

For what it’s worth, here’s where I stand with SS slot, who is actually one of my more complex reads this game that I’ve spoken very little about.

I trust Something_Smart. I don’t town read him. I want to town read him.

Overall I find that your breadth of interactions and your control of the game have done very little to give me pause. I think it'd be hard to keep that up for this long w/o the facade starting to crack at least a little if you were scum. You're not ignoring any slots and you're prioritizing people that you know.

I agree, you hadn't done anything like 2986.

But, by last night I had 2 issues. One was that, like I said, I had no sense of being weighed or further sorted after I townbinned you. I wanted to talk with you about that last night, but the stars didn't align.

The other is an unease at how you're interacting with PlusJoyed. It's not a huge unease, and I know you get your reads differently than I do, so not agreeing on them isn't jaw-dropping.

When you came out and defended us to April, it showed that you were caught up in the thread, which I've been waiting to happen before broaching all this with you. And it also gave me an opening to initiate the discussion.

I do appreciate that you pointed out how my playstyle informs what I've been doing. But it still surprises the hell out of me when I don't feel you've shown much read progression on me, at least in your posts.

I am getting cold feet on plus. I think he has these weird moments of clarity like 1546 and 2937 that make me think he's thinking about the state of the game as April is presenting it and deciding it's undesirable (especially if April is incorrectly townreading me as +j apparently claims he is). He really has no reason to rock that boat if scum and April is snowed on him

On the other hand like his reasons are mostly "i thought x was towny/scummy and therefore they go up/down" and that just seems like a really easy way to just apply any reasoning to a slot that you want to.

But not agreeing on a read? I don't think we were on the same page early game w/ ST either -- why is that different?

I also don't really get the minimegabyte angle you were taking -- cabd knows exactly why I was scumreading that slot and I don't think it's at all relevant to this game so I was a little confused as to what you were even trying to ask me, which is the only interaction you and I really have had on this slot.
