In Alonzo's ISO, but this jumped out. In what way is this game remotely stagnating? Dont get me wrong, Im a fan of lurker lynches and down with the proposal, but dont understand this pitch for it.

I see your explanation for this, and I agree on principle with the 4th vote logic. I just dont buy the part that has it depending on Noraa's alignment. Maybe its just personal history with the early lol-wagon, but I find the later lol-wagon votes to be townie, regardless of the target's alignment. Scum dont want that kind of attention.

I found Alonzo and Taylor's entries to be the pingiest. Alonzo with a naked vote and then absence, only to call TvT and foist a weak/obviously disprovable vote on Menalque (a slot that had been FoSed by enough to be a potential wagon).

I actually kind of liked Alonzo’s whole progression there. Like, if you’re scum who’s bandwagoning onto me then you pick a reason that will stand up to some scrutiny. There weren’t enough votes for it to be part of an attempt to quickwagon me.

What’s the incentive for scum!alonzo to vote me for a reason he knows won’t hold up only to then back down off it immediately? If I knew him already, I’d say that’s probably a p good way of trying to pocket me, but I don’t. So provided he isn’t scum with like, datisi who told him that’s exactly the sort of thing I’d like, I find his initial answer very likely to be true (skimming, saw something that seemed incongruent, voted based on that, corrected when more information provided) and think it’s actually a p towny thought process

I guess I just am going to agree to disagree with you on disprovable stances. Like to me its a way to appear solvey/steer in a direction without necessarily antagonize the player precisely because you can back off. Its not so much the quick wagon as the odd entry vote and disappearance, then coming back later to express a scumread on a slot that has had some light FoSSing but do so in a way that does not also antagonize the player. That said, I kinda liked what Alonzo did after I made this post, and I didnt like what Taylor did not do, so.

didn't vote for bm because i was more suspicious of noraa, there was already a noraa wagon (which allows actual pressure to be created), and nora was the hypocrite there and looked scummier to me. rn i think noraa is just newbie town, but being confident in bm!scum within the first day doesn't really scream town; noraa will stay at a light townread.
