I initially thought Assassin was you. Not so much by mid-late master phase, but was nevertheless impressed enough with his play that I really wanted him to get the master. You, I went back and forth on during Day 0. By day 2 and worrying I might eventually draw an NK, I had to point up why your play made you a candidate for the go-deep scum master mind, although "it's zmuffin, guys. BE CAREFUL" would have been a much shorter and more effective post!

I think I could have claimed my role and it would have been believable enough to not get myself eliminated if it came to it

Great game y’all! I think this is the first town win in a Cabd theme? Regardless, this game was a dream town.

This was fun to watch!

I wish I’d had time to play! When Cabd told me who was playing, I was super bummed I couldn’t play. Although my luck I’d have drawn scum and hated my entire life. Lol

My initial reaction to my role was "holy shit that's antitown". I doubt I would have used any abilities if I hadn't had a neighborhood, where I could document when/why I used it and feel confident the info would make it into the game thread in the event I met an untimely demise.

The list of selected characters shows a lot of people with very good taste, which is really the most important thing for anything when it comes to Fate. (hi5 @ Lucky2u for Aoi Yuuki character camaraderie)

I've said pretty much everything I think is worth saying in the spectator/dead PT, but it's been locked and won't be publicized until tomorrow, so I'll try some brief summaries.

* My apologies to everyone for having to replace out. I already have far too much to do in-person to be able to keep up with rapidposting, and then I got sick on top of that, so that was the end of any time and energy I could put toward the game. Thank you to Titus for jumping into a slot in a less-than-optimal game situation.
* Particular apologies to LLD, Muffin, and ffery for not being a stronger opponent. Perhaps some day I will be able to do better for you!
* FWIW my Masterization "strategy" of "flip a question mark" was what I came up with pre-game before role PMS were provided. Obviously it's hard to argue against the results of this game, but even with that I don't think it's a bad strategy, particularly if you land on someone willing to put in the effort that petapan did.

Thank you to everyone that played and hosted in this game, I had a lot of fun while I was still in! Special thanks to everyone that joined despite having little/no experience with F/GO or even Fate stuff in general. If this setting was interesting enough for you that you're curious about playing F/GO,
I am so sorry
make sure to have proper wallet discipline~
Well, this game happened.

When zmuffin quoted your sig during Day 0, I was like...wait what? Tammy???

It was kinda odd to do trajectorytm analysis without using the word, and also without describing what I was seeing in the usual ways. Without meta on so many players (f'rinstance it didn't occur to me that Bell was in the game, because I didn't know he was back at MS), I relied much more heavily on trajectory, tone and timing than I have in a long, long time.

That was damn fun. Optimal strategy suggested I should neighborize the IC and full claim there, but as soon as I figured out AE was ffery... Yeah that went out the window. Seems like it was a good idea in hindsight too, my neighborize wouldn't have worked!

Chara, I want to give you a shout out for holding it together really well, especially in the face of an Assassin guilty on d3. I think you did the best anyone could with the situation you were handed.

All <3 to ffery for being the mason I always wanted.

It was a privilege getting to play with all of you.

You too petapan. Hero we deserve indeed.

no redactions from me. a lot of my commentary is in the dead thread, so anyone who cares can check that out.
thanks everyone, this game was extremely hard to play but i have to concur the list was stellar and deserved their win.
i hope we can play together again.

Oh, also, feedback is welcome on the page per phase restriction. Personally, I think it artificially slowed the game down at times, but the game page length being more manageable was well worth it.

Yeah I think the biggest thing that hurt scum was being too low key in the master phase. Chara recovered well from the early gaffe with Assassin but poor midwaybear got gangbanged, hard.

I sort of wonder how different this game would have been if prism hadn't immediately slipped. Though, walking in thread and giving the mods shit for messing up was a one way ticket to a fight with me!

Pedit: The pages per phase was great. If this game had turned into a 150 page per day shitfest (as many of your large themes have~) I'd have been out. I think the slowing down the game was more due to us waiting on the lurkers to come out of hiding before shoving dynamite in their mouths.

I thought the page per phase restriction was beneficial to the game. During day 0 and day 1 I was mostly waiting until I had a few posts I wanted to respond to before making replies. To some extent that contributed to my activity fade, but I think the bigger factor was the neighborhood.

the page per phase restriction was directly responsible for the guilt i felt every time i posted a series of small posts in quick succession.

i post on mobile and have some attention difficulties reading longer posts so that contributes to my usual rapidfire style.
but the limit was not constricting, i found it a fine addition. 60 pages of space is plenty.

Learning the playerlist has made me really sad I altslipped so quickly, this would have been a blast and quite the challenge for an alignment that to me is normally an intolerable snoozefest.

Half of me is proud of my guy petapan for rolling the game, seriously proud of the dude. The other half of me hates to see him succeed, even before 303 which sent me straight to salt mines.

I was definitely a spectator more than a player this game, but the first 10 pages of Day 1 was a disaster. I was late to daystart and immediately was like "oh jesus this is bad". I didn't really see a channel to powertown without pressuring scum, but that would have been terrible to do imo. I settled on a more neutral entrance with the goal of latching onto a town master and getting the team to survive past Day 1/2. I don't think the PoE narrowing would have been that bad had they gotten to Day 2, at which point people really start waffling on their reads.
