penguin. though that seems a bit weak considering he hasn't posted in about a day.

maybe also almost50. the way he wants to sit back and sheep an absent penguin is interesting.

penguin i sus over what i think is a lack of content despite having over two dozen posts. the only concrete stuff i had on him was his read on you.

regarding your case i agree that it might be unlikely they are a team. i don't think scum would interact with his partner this way.

This is the one I feel best about. Why?

Take a close look at 77, 78, and 79; in particular, the mod edits. What exactly happened here? PenguinPower got a pagetop, Dong followed up by making a (probably joking) post about it in which he calls PenguinPower a no-no word. What's interesting is that the mod not only intercedes to censor the word, but issues a word of caution to

stop arguing about it, that getting pagetop is stupid, and if you really want to argue about it do it in a civil manner.

I find it somewhat unlikely that a mod, with perfect information, would interpret and intercede in such a way if PenguinPower/Dong were the exact scumteam (as he would understand, intuitively, that they are theatering).

Beyond just the pure angleshoot, 85 is a sort of direct and biting shade which is unlikely to come from one partner to another.

As of right now, my gun-to-head "gut" read on these two is TvT, but I'll stay wary.

My read on Nona has developed to "unconfident scum" (THEY are unconfident, not my read on them). They are trying to avoid the thread as much as they can and their reads seems to follow consensus with not much originality/genuineness.

So, I now have Lost as a top TR, followed by PP then BP. I have Nona at the bottom of my read list and I have no "personal" read on Dong/Jog (this means I'd still sheep PP in these two, although I might now also consider Lost's reads)

Reads are a strong word. I do have a townlean on billy however. I think their posting is down to earth while not being fluffish. I can say the same for joq, but for different reasons. I like posts like 117 and 126. Its also a slight townlean there.
As for the rest, if i had to lynch right now i'd go with almost or penguin.
That leaves me, you and nona. I have no thoughts on nona. I dont think i have enough info to make a lean on you.

can you link some billy posts that your townlean on him is based on?

this isn't addressed to me, but i read all of them and none of them feel particularly well substantiated. or more specifically, none of them are substantiated enough for me to want to use them to educate my current reads. too many reaches with too little evidence, and most importantly, they're all associative tells before any flips, which makes them even less useful.

I actually didn't read much, as I don't want to spoil the fun (of reading the whole day in one go). I was antagonized by Lost's response to my 1st post so that's where I started to push. His reaction didn't strike me as one that could come from Scum (at least not from 95% of the players) so I decided to move on. I picked the first name on the list and ISO'd Nona, and I decided that was a good place to investigate, so I voted there. The response does comply with the "Guide for inexperienced Scum". So -in short- I haven't even read any your posts, aside from this one I'm responding to.

This is both a fence-sit and going with the flow. At least 3 people had stated a TR on joq by this time, and at least one stated a TR on PP

These two posts accomplish nothing. The first is a question and the second is a reiteration of the answer Nona got for that question. Now what do we get from that? What does NONA get from it?? NOTHING.
