I think I am also a bit skeptical of the early town read because when we hydrad in that chef game, the one where we were the hydra, I think I remember you town reading a scum ffery pretty early day one. That read turned around day two, but I think if I'm remember correctly, you also have a tendency to get a strong town read there early regardless. So I guess I"m double squinting at you a bit. Like A are you over emphasizing a read you think you'd have if town and B if town do I trust your early read if I think you have a tendency to have that read regardless. (Don't mind my mind; it's a mess in here.)

I remember chef mafia being a thing but not a damn thing that happened in it other than us being a hider. I have no idea how you people keep all those games straight. Admittedly I was in a pretty much revolving round of 10+ games back then so maybe it's not so shocking I forgot.

It's in injoke about the large theme game I just ran, which had this rule:

5. A game phase is considered "exhausted" if a phase generated more than 60 new pages of posts. At that point, the game will enter "wind down" phase. The page count of the current player phase will be provided in each vote count.
6. During "wind down" each player is allowed a one post, and one additional post per vote on them at the time of the thread lock. (These counts will be mod-provided publicly)

i maintain 33 is a bad look. that kind of perspective-discerning logic always reads super ingenuine to me, and while it can come from town, i think scum are likely to throw it out because it's one of those "technically correct" points. that said, obviously there's a lot more content from that slot with which to read now, so my read may well change

Yeast grows naturally out in the fields on wheat and other grains. There's no need to buy yeast at all if you have the minimal patience needed to be a microbe rancher.

He seems to be accusing me of looking for LHF instead of scum here. First of all, how is this even scummy as I'm not even pushing any of Pooky, Taylor, or Jake yet. Second, in that quote I was literally telling Diamond to lay off of Jake, so I have no idea how he really thinks I'm scumhunting within the LHF. It should be clear that I was trying to figure out how to read them.
I think the only possible accusation from the quote he posted was me TMIing that all three LHFs were town, but that didn't seem to be his point. Even if it was, this roleplay medium makes it quite unclear what his points and stances really are this game.

If all that were involved, maybe.

But not everyone has the space and conditions to do this. You need certain humidity levels + certain warmth levels + levels of yeast in your air. It's not just a given that the correct microbes are in your kitchen.
This bread does taste better but it's much trickier to pull off. Your average bread baker is not gonna be able to pull this off and won't have the interest in doing so.
You could counterargue this with people are trying new things because of spare time in quarantine but that's not really holding true anymore, people have gotten apathetic and moved on.
