my obvtown game is pretty bad
I could fake a claim to avoid dying but I don't think that would help and is pretty antitown

@april- why did you claim your targets in thread instead of to bulge in the PT? With all the PR claims I think it’s a bit foolish to expect scum to target bulge. What are your reasonings behind your claimed targets? I have no issues with a muffin target but I think bell target is meh. And I get it’s your role and all but I don’t understand your POV here

It's a constellation of behaviors. His scum game lives pretty comfortably inside his town game. He's playing here A LOT like he did in the FGO game, where he was town. I thought he was town in that game, but I had a lot of paranoia that if there was a scum player positioned to go long, he was it. I wound up writing an essay about it, and I knew with every point I made that these were things he could do as any alignment, but he just works a little bit harder to get the elims he wants as scum. He came off as less confident about his reads in that game, and that is happening here, too.

The way he develops reads is a little alien to me, but there is method to it and I feel like I'm seeing enough of that method here.

There really isn't anyone else we're willing to wagon today. We're super uncomfortable going after 420 today. We have midway bear paranoia, but we don't think there's nearly enough support for that wagon.

We want to vote maid. That's it. That's what we wanted to do and we can't. We're assuming maid is part of the scum team, and that leads to our other reads.

Interesting, thanks for clarifying. I think I see why you're like, reasonably sold on town!muffin. You're probably looking at my wall and going like "welp, that was me previous game, he's making the same mistake I was".

To paraphrase from something earlier you said, I think you said "the whole point of meta tells are useful if they are something that the player can't manipulate". So I guess my one concern here is, you don't think this is something that scum!muffin would/is able to manipulate to try and pocket you (or maybe other people in this game familiar with that game)?
