I've only seen scum!Pooky play once (a game I moderated), where scum had no nightkills, and he was the first elim anyway.
Oh wait, Pooky as SK killed me N1 that one time.

Remind me why you did that when I didn't scumread you, Pooky? To frame?

Trying to wrap my head around the second half of your pooky case, why is him deliberating for a long time on redtea scummy and not townie? If you're town offering him a free wagon, if he waits to join you for longer than it would make sense to gain towncred for being 'thoughtful' and instead it gets to the point you're finding it scummy because he's indecisive, why isn't the simpler answer that he was just town evaluating whether your push was good or bad? I ask because not the parts you quoted, but his later approach to my slot was one of the reasons I thought he had high town equity frankly, he seemed to be willing to actively evaluate the redtea slot (ie my slot) not just on prism's meta but also off NKA. If he was scum he could have just as easily pushed hard there for *whatever* reason and then made up an excuse of not wanting to back off because of replacement.

It wasn't day 1, but you did a fair amount of distancing with Aldu in coalition Pooky, you had him in your scumsolve (while pushing the town in there ofc). I feel like it's similar to distancing from Ele's slot before you finally realised you had to vote him.

It was a long time ago.

This one is also fairly memorable:

lots of shenanigans there.

I never put Aldus in danger. I don't do that to scum-teammates

random question but would you say you use more gifs as town than as scum, or did you more just start using gifs recently and they'll just be absent from older games?

In coalition I only distanced off him to set up him up for later. I usually tank suspicion on the scum team because I have a wide array of defense measures. I do not let other people tank for me.

I only started using gifs after coming back to the site post pandemic and seeing other people use them.

Right, it looked unnatural to me because he wasn't committing to anything, like it was designed to give of the impression he was evaluating, and he was afraid of joining because he knows it'll flip town. Maybe I am overthinking this part of it and confibiasing though. (This is all based on memory)

However we have a really awesome win condition in that if either one of us survives into end of the game, both of us win(along with whoever normally wins in the endgame).

Basically if Flanders has been telling the truth about his ability, we can all win(us 2 baddies and the town)

We can nolynch, and flanders can convert one of us at night.

Next day, we will lynch the nonconverted out of me and tally, and since only townsfolk will be left.

We will all win together , the town winning cuz its townie only left, and me/tally winning cuz one of us survived to the endgame.

was this actually true?

prism and tayl0r I think were the other two opposed to my slot being scum at the time, so it wasn't everyone but it was definitely closer to a consensus position than not

yup and I already had reasons to suspect redtea to begin with from D1 so it wasn't even much of a stretch that I continue my suspicion of redtea.

so pooky summary

scumcase:
some scummy posts day 1
some weird perspective things when talking to scum in early game
hectic sees push on his slot as scummy as well

vs.

towncase:
meta against grain for early bussing
night kill maybe "too obvious" (this one debatable I guess)
play toward my slot more likely to come from town than scum trying to pocket

I don't think it's healthy to ignore major tone issues so I'll think about the posts that got your attention, but the points of the towncase do give me significant pause when re-evaluating this slot. Like I think we can make the argument that points 1 and 2 of towncase would normally put this slot in the upper half

then again I feel like half my tanner case is tone so lol I don't want to be a hypocrite and say "oh no my tonereads are better than your tonereads!"
