Her behavior around the Looker wagon is particularly bizarre IMO -- she defended Looker without an earnest attempt to derail the wagon, then said she intended to hammer, then didn't do so.

I liked Looker, I thought he was funny and clever - at first. Then as he kept posting I saw why he was perceived as abrasive and toxic. Having said that, I felt that Looker's entire wagon was based not on speculation about his alignment, with all but a really thin veneer of "analysis," but on deep seated animus that made it easy for players to get on board.

Iecerint, you ought to be embarrassed of your post.

What happened?

I demanded that Looker claim immediately.

I wrote: "Enough of this garbage intent to

," which was an

error

. So in the following post, I

corrected

my mistake by posting "I mean, intent to

hammer

." I was not proclaiming an intent to hammer - mind you, I would gladly have swung it on Looker, or anyone, had he claim stalled. I am inflexible on that point in all games. Remember my sig? If you don't... read it. It's been there for over 10 years.

But Looker did claim, and I believed the claim. I am disappointed that he got eliminated due to hate rather than alignment.

Yeaaah, I went back to make an iso-case on galron for gamma, got partway through, realized it sucked and changed my mind. Gal prolly townie. My gut HATES them, but it is also probably not to be listened to since it also hates Starbuck.

Walter/Pook/Chk/Me are probably all better lynches for town today than galron is.

Iecerint is obsessively focused on you, and his stance on you is not nuanced by changes in your behavior or the game state.

I would call it "forced consistency." He doesn't want to have to explain changing his mind. He posted a player ranking fairly early in the game and while he only partially explained the ranking, he seems to have boxed himself in with it.

He has decided you're scum, and that's it. Now he's decided I'm scum too... based on my interactions with you, which he is has no choice but to call bus'ing since he threw the both of us together in the scum pile very early.
