This bothers me. I feel like your whole approach this game is to put the burden of proof on the player to show that they're town and what town looks like is whatever you decide it is.
Which is an incredibly convenient stance to take.

To be honest, most of this "PoE" pool is just low posters, so this may be a specific game situation.
