Their case for scum!me was a mess of weak arguments and that contradicting meta argument. Proving it was not the type of vote town puts on someone they believe are scum, but an vote scum puts on town to hopefully push through an early elimination.

Just a heads up for everyone as well that Titus might at some point come in here and try to completely obfuscate the whole game with a load of nonsense about 'Vote Count Analysis'. It's a complete distraction and waste of time, don't get hung up on it.

You can keep track of votes through the thread or ask the moderator for a vote count. It's a VC for short. On later days, I like to analyze these to look for scum. That's called VCA or vote count analysis.

We also know that Titus isn't making any real effort to read the thread properly, because they just didn't pick up on this at all.

Alright, I found the reasoning a bit hard to follow in the beginning but now I think this is a lot more convincing than the case against TheDuke was earlier. I'm in.

I recently went head to head with her, so feel I am in a good position to form a read. This is complicated by your involvement/association in the interactions (not saying you are a scum team or anything like that, but your read of her is extremely relevant). My gut says she is scum, and we should shoot her off to the dead thread ASAP, but I want to be sure. This is because I

It isn’t really. Town Looter scumread me for meta at the start of the game so i’m presenting him with evidence where my meta in fact proves i’m town.
Even so i believe my play in this game hasn’t been scum indicative at all, and if anyone believes it has been. I’d like to hear that so i can debate.

Not sure at all, because if I remember correctly, my past success rate for day ones on this website is like, not great. I've played thousands of games of mafia. Nobody gets this right all the time. In fact nobody really gets it right much more significantly than somebody who was just randomly guessing would get it right. So I would never be 'sure' of a player flipping anything, if that makes sense. Even if I was sure and then it turned out I was correct, how would I have any way of knowing that I didn't just get lucky? That's just the nature of the game. So every lynch ever, fundamentally somewhere in the back of my mind I'm just thinking 'yeah they can turn out to be anything lol I have no idea this game's so hard'.

that Titus is the best lynch and even if they flip town, I won't have any regrets about lynching them because they were quite clearly the scummiest player in the game. I think it's actually rare for me to essentially settle on a 'yeah I'm not changing my vote' thing this early into a game.

So I mean to answer your question in a simple way, this is like, as confident in a lynch as I get basically, which will never be that confident because I'm aware it's a difficult game.

My thought exactly. Voting Titus will get the game moving because as of now, we're at a stalemate. Though, humour me for a sec please. I kinda buy Titus's claim that she didn't realise that it was already L-1 for Norway. She is such an experienced player, if she is a scum it's unlikely that she would have done something so obviously scummy that would get someone on her tail without fail. It's so freaking risky, isn't it? And this made me feel that it was a genuine mistake on her part.

So honestly I'm not happy with how Norway is the driving force here. Worst case scenario, he is a scum stringing everyone along to lynch a town. Because this is between SE and SE (him vs Titus), with the only other SE siding with him. While the rest of us, except for Looter, are too inexperienced to influence the game.
