Attacks themselves are privately announced only. Damage taken from attacks is shown via the publicly available stat table. Please see the following from post 7:

The usage of Items and abilities, attacks/steals, and actions taken, as well as individual results of interactions with Rooms, is private.
Stat changes will be publicly shown via player stats being public, but not the name of the Item or Room that was used or who caused the change in stats.

also if they dont take damage then the attacked player would still know, no?

Players will also receive private notification of any attacks/steals they defended, their attackers' identities, and the results of those attacks/steals, at the beginning of the Dawn phase.

You receive these notifications regardless of the result of the attack/steal.

who i think the scumteam is if 3 people:

noraa: has ate'd constantly and just stuck to a single tunnel without consideration for anything else. made excuses to get out of mechanically confirming anything. or to help town solve. something tells me that their n1 action was to activate the lab and they swapped that with their n0 action. also their seemingly unmoving townread on abr i can see as team indicative

lavar: man. this dude just straight scummy. between hammersitting on d2, their slotkin pine being also scummy, and then claiming an item and then using delaying tactics to avoid giving it to a person who is near conf town is just ... yeah.

well since 2 labs were activated on n1 then theres ppl that are lying about their actions or wont out them for this reason. all n0 and n1 actions should def be outted considering that we have a double lab activation ya know

unclear actions: failed lab destroy, using a public room

clear actions: finding a new public room and being uncc, finding a non public room. (being able to name it and having someone verify it would be a method to clear), gaining an item.

if we narrow down the pool of ppl who could have activated the lab on n1 we can more easily find 2 scum.
