We might find ourselves in a race to the finish. Any town who day vigs needs to go to low priority night kill. This game could end up going to who can shoot first after the 24 hour cooldown.

I was planning on making a post along the lines of "hey, shooting from the hip is clearly not working out for us so maybe we should actually talk" and then trying to control the narrative

Well, herald and Echo aren't actually cleared, neither is Micc though it could be argued he was the night 2 scan, which explains the heavy town read by paradox.

What's actually going to kill us is the 24 hour cooldown of the day vig. Since esurio and I can't shoot for 24 hours, Micc and Zora will probably shoot us first. Then it gets into cooldowns, and your shot on Paradox was extremely scummy, so you'll probably die quick.

What's likely to happen is Micc or Zora will make a kill tomorrow, our best case being zora kills Micc. We Kill Zora that night because all town will have shot, and then it's a 24 hour waiting game for either esurio or I to shoot (for more WIFOM).

Do I think that'll happen, probably not.

It could also be spun that petapan shot the most useless (no offense Diamond) member of the scum team after the Cops were dead in order to get town cred.

Our biggest advantage is that town doesn't know the limitations of our shooting and might think last 3 scum are Micc, esurio, and Toogs.

So if, by some way, you make it to endgame you could maybe use that argument, though I think most people would still kill the cop killer over the godfather killer lol.

At some point, it will be figured out that goons can shoot. Our best play might be to speculate that goons can fire, but they can't fire on subsequent days, like Goon A fires Day 1, Goons B and C can't fire Day 2, but can on Day 3. They'd have the same 24 hour stipulation.

I'm just trying to spitball some ideas that might give us some outs. Smart people will have figured out that the scum team as a whole has a day vig instead of just the Godfather though, but still any WIFOM we could add to the pot might make things easier.

Considering we did everything right, and town shot themselves in the foot... like a lot... literally... this game might have ended up being a bit town sided still and a difficult climb from the beginning. Two Cops is hard to combat.

Yeah, I'm not sure how we could have done better than we did, and it sucks that we'll probably lose anyway considering how hard town was cannibalizing themselves. Oh well.

At this point, I'm gonna keep lurking out unless I have the opportunity to shoot someone.

Micc will kill one of us tomorrow.

The day after that will be a race to the 24h cooldown. Killing petapan is probably of high importance since they shoot quick. Echo might be a scary possibility too. It may be worth shooting petapan tonight even though I doubt zora shoots Micc tomorrow anyways.

I'll leave it to you guys. The crucial part of reaching parity will be the 24 cooldown shot though.

Ok, yeah, if we don't win at parity, we're pretty much hosed. We'll be waiting on 48 hour and probably 72 hour cooldowns.

If we are going to have any shot at winning this, we need to ensure that whoever is last town alive has as long a Kill cooldown as us.

So killing zora ensures all town will have 24 hour cooldown when Micc shoots tomorrow. Then we kill petapan tomorrow night.

Next day, it's a race to 24 hours and we kill one of Micc or Echo and night kill the other.
