i've been thinking a bit more about the setup in 16, and while i do like it, i'm kinda thinking scum is screwed come massclaim if they don't kill a PR? both the tracker and rolestopper are heavily gated, and i have a fear the town will just townbin the checker on the basis of "there's not enough town power otherwise"
an idea came to me to make the goon into mafia informed, and let them know there's 4 vts in the game. i think in theory it lets them know that the town power is scattered and that they'll maybe have to fakeclaim a PR to get some of them executed?I will straight up disregard all reason if you have a PR dream again. You can come back and be like, “I dreamt that Locke is a N2 Bulletproof Multitasking Cop and Self-Targeting Doctor,” and I will go, “Okay, Locke kill it is then.”~M- callforjudgement

Four players will have died by the time you reach a 3:2 ending. That's very unlikely to be the four VTs (especially because it's fairly common for people to be forced to a claim and then not eliminated). Also bear in mind that scum could end up claiming a weak power role, rather than VT.scum· scam · seam · team · term · tern · torn ·town- Datisi

The Tracker-Finder PM needs to clarify that the Complex modifier only prevents the tracker-finding from working on vanilla players – we wouldn't want the player to think that their factional kill would fail. That could be as simple as changing "Your Night action" to "This Night action".
Removing the "Assuming no interference from your action" from the Checker PM makes it no longer make sense. You probably want "You will be told whether or not your action succeeded".
The rules don't mention anything about how to request a replacement (i.e. that you can't do it in thread); "Follow all site rules" covers this, so this is basically up to whether you want all the site rules to also be present in your own ruleset or not.
I'm fine with the setup, and the rules and PMs hardly need changing, so I approve this assuming that you make at least the first two choices above (the third is more a mod discretion thign).scum· scam · seam · team · term · tern · torn ·town- Datisi

hmm, i didn't think about the complex modifier and the factional kill, glad it doesn't affect it. i edited the tracker-finder and the checker role PMs. also i added that rule to my ruleset. considering how annoyed i get when players replace out in-thread or threaten to reaplce out, i wonder why i hadn't added it earlier.
