Random question but its honestly just more chitchat more then anything because thinking back about it, I really think Taylor misplayed really hard if Cakez is scum and Taylor reached out to Cakez.
I feel like the correct way for the traitor to play in this setup is to guide the scum while also just destroy the Deathy inside. They have to give up their lives but the Traitor is a ticking time bomb waiting to die.
Taylor signalling to Cakez if Cakez is scum is a big misplay. I get why they thought it was a good play, signalling to scum is GENERALLY a good idea because people USUALLY don't know that there's a traitor in the setup. It's a mistake thats easy to do. However when its public knowledge that there's a traitor in the setup and its within a group of 5 people, its relatively easy to identify?
I mean she was also getting super fucked on rand (I actually now that I think about it, Jake was probably the most important deathy member because I can totally imagine Tammy, Syr, and Ffery using Jake as bait, and a really good one of that)

i have wanted to draw scum again to prove i've still "got it" but it hasn't happened yet. however i have no idea at all how the traitor was supposed to play this setup. my actual plan as a traitor would just be to make a lot of noise and hardpush people for a couple days to draw attention from teammates, but that's not really possible in this setup where there's 4 people who know you're a traitor. it seems like it'd be tough to maintain a presence in the main thread while also having to not get caught by the people in the hood (that's to say nothing of possibly having to play scum in dethy, which always sucks)

him getting less involved and more lackadaisical has been suspect but i think his writing isn't as stilted as it tends to be as scum and i don't think he chooses to speak to his teammates the way he did to bell/ds.
