Imagine I am town and Dunn's alignment is unknown to me. Look at his play. Listen to what I am saying about what I've seen in the neighborhood thread. Who cares whether the odds say in 9-games-out-of-10 Dunn is town? This is the 10th game. I can think of no explanation for Dunn's behavior from a town perspective. Not one single reason. If I am a townread of his, as he's just said, and he was some PR lying low, he could have told me. Hell, I basically asked him that, days ago.

Imagine the absurdity of me lying to town-Dunn from the beginning of the game that I have that probability information about him, then at the end of the day breadcrumbing that role information, and then him outing it to protect himself. Why, as scum, would I do that? Why bother telling him anything about my role at all?

And this is really the most important point. Because there is no reason to believe Dunn is town. You can have a scumread on me, but it doesn't make sense that I am scum and he is town. Therefore, it is better to eliminate him today, because you will get more information that if you eliminate me. Tomorrow I am not going to get away from you easily, worry about whether we are a possible team AFTER you have cleared the most likely member.

Suppose I am scum. Think about the sequence of events that would have had to occurred with my partial roleclaim.
1. I lied to Dunn privately that I had mod-given info about his alignment
2. When we are getting close to his elimination, I breadcrummed the informed part of my fakeclaim
3. Dunn outs my breadcrumb because the probability adds a little support to his innocence

Why would I:
1. Lie in the first place about being informed
2. Even bother to breadcrumb that

It doesn’t make sense from a scum perspective, when there are far better and less complicated things I could have done.
