I know, it reads like she’s flailing because she can’t come up with a better reason than the one I proposed. Contrast that with when LLD was hardpushing Noraa, she was adamant not nervous. Similar with Pooky. When town is pushed they are usually not nervous.

Both Adorable and LLD openly expressed their SRs on me multiple times. Thats the only thing Fred's two hurt tags had in common.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I think and why he switched it to LLD who’s two top srs were Noraa and Theta. I think had you not switched your scroll target from Noraa to Fidget, you would have very likely been scrolled instead of LLD.

I think scum!Fred wasn’t expecting that. It probably also explains why he went from hard pocketting me to putting me in his hitlist. He was probably hoping, to discredit me wrt to his saving Fidget,

I'll talk about Adorable more later. But if you're giving Adorable a town pass on that HURT tag, you're a fool. The entire point of a HURT tag is it isn't final -- it means nothing until near the deadline. Fred didn't let it go that long.

For now, I will say if we have a townie to get rid of, Noraa is our best bet. I trust her with the scroll and there's other reasons I want to sit on for a bit.

Yes exactly but Adorable made it clear she was going to scroll Fidget and I think Fred didn’t want her scrolled. Fred wanted to ensure he’d get to take out two towns - you/Theta and LLD/Adorable.

No, im *somewhat* willing to take the scroll. A few problems tho.
1) I do not know who I would scroll. I have too many SRs rn and I dont trust town to make a good decision for me atm. I know there are 4 scum out there constantly playing around with our reads and I dont know where they are hiding or how they are influencing town as a whole. I believe town consensus reads are total jackshit with this many scum still alive.

2) I am conftown or the closest that you can get in this *gestures vaguely* setup and im not feeling like getting rid of me is a great idea. I mean, I have zero doubt that I'll probs get taken out by scums either today or tomorrow but the later the better since Poe'ing is easier with more locktowns than fewer. Prolly should shut up otherwise it'll end up being today not tomorrow :/

3) I like being conftown and am rarely conftown cuz I legit basically only roll vt and get limmed like day 1.

4) town gets nothing out of my flip. sincerely, I believe all that happens is everyone just goes "wow so I guess it really was just that" and then Gloria, Taylor, Bell, and Mush come in and call whoever scrolled me a dumbass.

idk. im not confident on this but I feel like both are plausible explanations. Both make logical sense if you think about it.

It’s a wifom game for scum with this kind of set up especially if they’re in the first scroll position, because they’d need to successfully wifom the townie in the second scroll position to do their bidding. If scum is in the second scroll position then there’s obviously no need for wifom and in the second position they take out obvtown, so if Shelley is scum, because she’s in the first scroll position, she probably doesn’t want to outright scumclaim unless Mush’s reads are not good like LLD’s or at least her top scroll choices anyway. Now I think it’s definitely possible she put Noraa into her scumpile so she could scroll her and it not look suspicious. Kind’ve what Fred did with LLD. He slipped when he neglected to put her into his hitlist.

Yeah that is a good point, I think scum ideally wants to scroll a slot who’s wrongly sr town, which is what I believe was the case with Fred. However, they might also scroll someone they think will buy into their wifom. What they absolutely don’t want is a slot who will take out one of their buddies, so I probably don’t get scrolled here before Fidget flip.

It depends whether scum is in the first or second scroll positions. I think it’s less about taking out obvtown than it is about saving their buddies. If scum in the first scroll position scrolls an obvtown who is hard scumreading a buddy, then they obviously don’t want to risk their buddy dying. That’s why I feel so confident about this, plus I feel pretty confident that I’ve correctly nailed at least one scum.
