Other hidden habaneros? Well. I don't know if I'd call it a habanero, but I tend to play manipulatively and psychologically, so I'm usually trying to do two or three things with any given action in general. Plenty of those never panned out, including sitting on info before Fred's hammer. (I was bluffing about having anything to talk about there to try and reactionbait, but I think no one caught it and it would have broken it if I kept waving in its direction.)

A couple that did successfully pan out were dragging Flea into the spotlight for about an hour or so, and reactionbaiting Gloria to calibrate the other slots. I don't think Gloria knows how easy she is to drag emotionposting out of, but it makes setting a scale super easy. I can barely put any weight on her and get a full tirade, while I jump on Adorable with the big shoes and barely get a squeak. My control was Pooky on D1, bad pressure there got reactions every time.

MURDER giving off scumpings to me was also a thing that panned out. I recognized they just sort of got into the townbloc without any invitation or reasoning behind it, and they dodged pressure like Fred did -- redirection and deflection. So I kept pressing on their support network in the townbloc near the end there, and there were moments that didn't feel like town feeling excluded in the same state.

By itself, that's basically useless. I needed to have a scale of how town acted as well. Look at Gloria for strong reactions (all I had to do was dismiss her to get reactions), look at Pooky and Fidget for weak ones (I kept chipping at their potential places in the town and redirecting attention away from them when they looked for support), and MURDER's reactions were comparatively delayed and subdued. The frustration didn't feel genuine and it came way after it should have, in response to a totally different series of events, though it correctly identified the isolation and exclusion focus. I was considering aiming for the galaxy brain play, too, right up until DGB effortposted.

I have to wonder how strongly that last thing with MURDER came through for the other players -- certainly Noraa was showing the joy of being in the cool kids' tent, but I don't know about the others. I was definitely playing with in-group/out-group dynamics there, but I don't know how obvious or subtle that is to the average person.

Flea's going to do the job I was hoping to get Noraa to do of repeating my last words until everyone's fucking sick of it. Well, no accounting for taste. I made it really inflexible to give town momentum out of the gate, and then it's annoying and wordy to repeat to make them chafe at the restrictions and start falling to infighting. I was aiming for real cannibalism hours at that stage -- Bell never goes down there, everyone else is at risk after Gloria falls (and fall she will). Noraa's REALLY GOOD at irritating people by constantly repeating stuff. Shame she didn't pick it up, but Flea's working at it.

If it works out the way I wanted and Flea's red, that's a real egg-on-face moment in the post game. "Whoops, I pushed the blatantly manipulative townie's cunning plan to completion after town rejected a necessary component of it."

Yeah. It's still not horrible, but the town needs to cannibalize tomorrow and fast. Absolutely demoralizing day I think, unless Adorable was actually red, so I think it's likely... but I can see town confidence and my glue formula being too strong causing the whole thing to stay together around the scummy scummy core, too.

Hopefully going 2 or 3 green will cause town to pivot and fall apart. Only one high doubt slot left (Flea) so unless they play it safe and only scuff the outer edges of the townbloc by eating Fidget and Gloria, they'll /have/ to start cursing the crowd.

I'm so glad that my work with Pooky and MURDER in the townbloc is working out. Bell's getting shoved aside by Pooky, Gloria's nowhere in sight, MURDER's on the chopping block... This is exactly how I wanted this town to pan out at the cannibalism stage, just missing the "hey when the hell did you become town, Pooky" moment of insight from someone else, ideally if/when Pooky leads a miselimination (so that he can power one through on MURDER before the curtain falls).

Shame Noraa's not in the running right now, but I think Noraa goes down before Bell and Fidget if Fidget doesn't die in the starting dust-up.

Good job Titus. Honestly, I had more doubts on you than I did on DGB at the end, hence the pivot, but that last day... I legitimately thought you were committing green-on-green violence there with the Tayl0r vote.

The basics here is that Fidget is a LHF slot that isn't so LH anymore. Pressing there is kid's stuff...except Fidget's playing a better game, becoming obvtown in ways scum can't easily fake, and putting that in third slot? Not a good look.

Hitting Pooky at this point is plausible, but hitting Pooky right after Flea? Before Gloria? Ugly! Bad scum stink. This smells like "I trust Pooky's judgement to not game throw" angling for townpoints, at a stage in the game where angling for townpoints is over for town.

And the real kicker is UNOwen, who has been town-UNOwen all game long, playing anonymous but strong, giving good reads and following early on red eliminations. UNOwen in third slot? Never ever, not this early in the cannibalism phase. Second if you must. UNOwen is too powerful as a town figure in the lategame, you sacrifice that when your back's to the wall only.

Putting any of the three before Gloria is awful. Scumclaim play.
