it would have been interesting if you had protected outworldER though, since I had pretty much confirmed in my mind that you were town by the setup so we would have gone into the day with an IC and me thinking the scum team was gamma/pooky/the worst. We would have had to deal with the false clear on kasu though so we probably would have still lost.

Right but we likely would have miselimmed because of it. My understanding of the game had kasu cleared if bulge was town which gave me a POE solve which was at least partially wrong. Although, it did have both you and the worst in it so there's at least a chance we would have gotten there.

I suspect we would have ended up miselimming gamma and losing though

Fundamentally N_M does not play the game. It should be disallowed to play the way he does the same way you're not allowed to play without reading your role PM.

I will say that you lied which I used to think was a bad idea for town to do in like 99% of situations, but I'm starting to think that it's a bad idea to do 100% of the time. Not only are town very likely to mislim you but it's nearly impossible to read the alignment of somebody pushing what is essentially a policy yeet on the liar.

Also, this is a personal thing, but I found that the sheer volume of posts that you made made it hard to follow the game which is +EV for scum.

It pretty much made the game harder on literally every slot alive in the endgame. The scum couldn’t effectively organize a quickhammer, and town was left chasing a doomed outcome.

Nah I agree with shea. NM did nothing and should not be applauded for doing nothing. People need to stop excusing this kind of behavior.

I targeted Kasumeat. I thought they would kill there again, assuming I'd be on outworld, to frame it as my kill (flipping kasu to legitimize my clear). plus if there was no kill it would prove that at least one of those was a protect and not a no-kill, because what mod would allow two no-kills in a row with a no-elim in between. this would have solidified me and kasu as town.

Honestly I think the reviewers massively underrated the potential to fuck up the game the scumteam had.

Well I do admit; the thought of the loyal jailkeeper protecting the bulletproof traitor the same night the scum killed them, providing a false innocent, did indeed not occur to me.

What're the odds of that happening? 1/(Number of players alive - 2) * 1/(number of players alive - 1)? So 1/6 * 1/7? That's, what, a 2.380952380952381% chance?

Eh you did a good job replicating your town game here which was both good for you on a basic level but also bad for you because it puts a damper on your ability to seem like reputable town. I essentially wrote you off as “same old Kasumeat” at the end there. So probably try to learn from experience a bit more in the future.

Traitor is, in general, not a fun role and I personally hate it but I'd be overstepping my bounds as a reviewer to not allow someone to run a setup with one just because of my personal opinion that the role is inherently unfun. Being nightkilled by your scumbuddies is absolutely not fun for the scum at all; traitors in general are a bit anti-fun but making them immune to their own faction's nightkills helps mitigate that so that the scum don't accidentally eliminate one of their own and put themselves in a worse spot.

Traitors being bulletproof is a bit strong, since the scum lack associatives with the traitor and the traitor won't die to them, but there are still extreme drawbacks. The traitor cannot be the last scum alive; the traitor cannot effectively coordinate with the scum; the traitor will have associatives with the mafia so if the traitor does die the town will be able to trace the mafia far more effectively; etc.
