the thing is when you flip scum everyone that unvoted you looks bad. Now you can certainly make the argument that players that unvoted you are more likely to be uninformed of your alignment while scum would be more likely to vote their buddy going down. I just don't think its the wisest play to just discount everyone that unvotes you.

I don't think thats a very accurate description of the game. There has been a TON of resistance to a muh wagon and someone that tried to quickhammer a without a claim is just scummy as all fuck and its pretty dumb if you don't think EVERYONE will jump on that regardless of his alignment. Scum will buss him for town cred and decent town will think he's just scum.

Day 1 I don’t like to put high high stock into my reads to avoid the tunnel, so I like to move past Day 1 is all.

This is mainly just a Day 1, possibly Day 2 if necessary thing, for anyone who wants to push it as anti town. I have a tendency to town read the main wagons even if they are scum.

Can Pretentious be scum here? Yes, absolutely. The quickhammer attempt wasn't town but for FL it's NAI.

My reasoning here is that if we lynch this slot and it flips town, we are handicapping ourselves on a massive scale. When I played scum last game, Boon was my biggest threat and I tried super hard to eliminate him at any cost. FL is a good player. He will prove useful and if he doesn't, we can yeet him later.

That last post is another reason why I’m comfortable calling ABR town. My style effected him, and nearly lost him the game.

He also knows that if I were scum here, I’d be pigeonholed, so I think we are going to end up with an incredibly strong town duo in the 2 of us that scum will have to kill off.

Yep. Did so just recently even where I channeled my playstyle from 2014 day 1.

I also have done the exact same thing in every game I’ve ever played on as Pretentious because it’s hard to keep that posting style up.
